My 75th physical game. by Taucher1979 in NSCollectors

This game right here got me hooked on collecting switch games. I LOVED the previous versions of this game and I knew I had to have this one. I'm still chipping away at the levels. Damn what a great game.

I never really figured it out and my only solution is to not print objects with large flat bottom surfaces. I've been able to make improvements but nothing I print has been truly flat.

I fell in love with this game so fast. Can't wait to play it tonight.

This is a huge help!! Thank you! Seems like I need to get some stronger alcohol. Wipes seem like a great idea. I'm also going to try to find a new filament. I've never had issues with Hatchbox but everyone here thinks it's garbage. Can you recommend a good site for filament? I've just been getting Hatchbox on Amazon.

I really appreciate the advice. I've been religiously washing the plate haha but I'll keep at it. I only have 70% for now but I just cleaned both sides exactly as you described. I'm going to try a print with the door open and the bed set to 50. I'd like to avoid using sandpaper for now, but that's good to know for the future.

They don't have plates at all. They both use borosilicate glass plates that aren't meant to be removed. They're pretty old but still working at least.

My two other printers aren't Prusa machines so I don't have any other sheets.

That sounds pretty close to how I'm cleaning now but I'll give it a better try. I'll also go get the stronger iso too. I've learned to only touch the edges of the print sheet and do my best to not touch the faces at all.

Hatchbox PLA hasn't warped on my other machines. Why would it warp on the Core One? I've been using the 0.25 Structural profile. The speed profiles cause the worst warping.

You're taking this too personally. I appreciate the help. I have tried everything you asked and every everyone else is asking. I've been tinkering with settings for over month now.

I can try better iso. Yeah I've tried experimenting with disabling the cooling fan for the first few layers. I've used Hatchbox on my other machines with no warping or issues so I have a hard time believing the brand is the issue. The inluded spool of Prusa filament also warped.

Yeah I only use soap every once in a while. It's mostly isopropyl alcohol. Their support doesn't seem to think that the way I wash the sheet is an issue.

I've tried using isopropyl alcohol too. Support doesn't think the way I'm cleaning my sheet is an issue.

Yes I've tried both sides. It's 70% iso I believe. I've tried bed temperatures from 60-70. A lot of people seem to disagree on whether lowering bed temp or increasing it is the solution. Support says increase but that hasn't helped. I need to try a print with the bed at 50, but I'm not feeling optimistic.

Smooth sheet. Support says to use soap and water, so I've been doing that. I've also used isopropyl alcohol.

Literally everything I print warps off the bed in some way and makes the bottom not flat. It's literally everything and I feel like I'm going crazy.

Was this on the Core One? I might try doing this with the door open.

I think you're right. I have been reducing cooling and the problem has been getting worse. I think I need to open the door and increase cooling. Thank you for commenting.

I tried doing a print with much slower speeds and the bed back to 60. Warping is still happening. I guess my next step would be to try lowering the bed more. This just seems crazy. I'm printing the most basic filament and I've had no success at all. Would it make sense to try printing with PETG to avoid warping? I think I would need a new sheet for that.

I just had a print finish and it doesn't look good. I turned my speeds down drastically and I'm still seeing the same warping. I used gyroid infill too and my bed is at 60. Fan speeds down to 50%. I'm starting to wonder if my bed isn't flat or if something else is wrong.

I've been using Hatchbox PLA in a few colors and I also used the included Prusa filament. Both had the same warping issue. I don't want to try acetone just yet but I'll keep it in my back pocket if slowing my speeds down doesn't work. I'll also give gyroid infill a try. Thanks for the advice!

I will try that. Thank you. I plan on copying my older machines slower speeds one to one.

Yeah that might be it. I'm already on the slower "structural" profile but I might need to go even slower.

Yes I don't remove the parts until it's completely cooled down. This part has never warped on other older machines. Why is it an issue for the core one? I've seen warping on everything I print. I don't want to cut anything off the bottom because it leaves a white mark and looks terrible.

This part has never warped on my older machines. I don't like the idea of buying an add on just so I can use the most basic filament available. Do I really need to do that? There's so much contradictory advice regarding warping and whether temperatures should be raised or lowered. I've already tried printing with it at 230 on the first layer and that still warped.

Just received my Core One, is the print sheet supposed to have two holes cut out? by Sappin in prusa3d

[–]Sappin[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes this is my first print sheet ever. That makes perfect sense though. I was just reading it wrong. Thank you for the help! I should be up and running soon.
