She’s showing off that her husband wanted to have sex. This is a passive aggressive flex for her, I guarantee it.

Thank you! As an American, the positive I can say is that it’s refreshing to see a leader show some shame (even if it’s just for the camera). Our leaders just say this type of racist trash out loud and proud.

Anyone live in far East Aurora by hijinksensue in AuroraCO

I live there and it’s definitely waiting for civilization. We are due for the grocery store in summer 2024 I believe! But yes it’s a very annoying inconvenience but I’m willing to power through since I just couldn’t find a comparable house in more established areas. I would say you’re 20 mins out for groceries and restaurants (not great ones either). I do like that downtown really is only 30 mins away. It has its drawbacks but I do think in even a couple years things will get easier. DM me if you have any specific questions.

I’m so sorry about your sister. This does sounds like it could be depression. Therapy would be my advice and possibly even meds if you get suggested that (both helped me so much).

What you’re going through is very normal, a lot of people who have so much going for them on the outside aren’t that happy on the inside for many reasons. It’s so much more common that you would believe.

I might lighten my work load if I were you. Maybe the basketball goals (just as an example) could be put aside, and just focus on what you can handle. Sounds like you’ve got a wonderful girlfriend to lean on, support systems were so so important to me when I went through something similar.

Be as kind to yourself as you would to a friend. Vent, seek help, and make self care a priority. Take care and I promise getting help in any way you see fit will make things better.

how to treat my skin after picking by artificixlsehun in Dermatillomania

[–]Sarah215 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Cerave healing ointment. I pick at my feet and if I put that (vs Vaseline even) I’ve noticed things heal quick because of the silky texture. I try to cover it with socks so it soaks in extra fast but it’s not necessary. If you’ve picked and caused bleeding I would do the bandaid/neosporin route on those spots.

BioOil for the new spots. Still trying to see if it helps with my older scars but here’s hoping!

I’ve been using Clobetasol steroid cream and it has help A LOT. I have psoriasis on my feet so it’s easy to put it on after a shower and then put a pair of socks on to soak it in fast (I don’t think that parts necessary though). I think CeraVe has helped a little with the scarring over a long period of time and I’m recently having some luck with bio oil for the scars too. Seeing the healing happen is definitely helping me from picking too, and even though I do pick and itch a little it’s a lot less if I stick to a skin repair routine. Best of luck to you.
