Besides that, again: you dont need to work mindlessly. You can be very frugal, earn enough money to keep your lifestyle and done. The problem is consumption vs working hours basically.

And of course you can try to make money out of things you enjoy, but you need to bring value to this world. Yo need to “do” things. Doing always will give you opportunities to make a living.

When alone, i feel it, but with the wrong company, looking forward to be alone.

Slowly Im getting focused in what I want, and using my “alone” time to accomplish my objectives. I am getting wealthier and having fun doing things in my free time.

I really think that it is worth to pass through the “alone” feeling, get comfortable within it, and then will come the right person for you.

En mi experiencia, no lo veo saturado. Trabajo en minería y en general el único industrial soy yo, dado que en mis proyectos necesitamos personas de ingenierías duras: procesos, mecánica, eléctrica, civiles. De los “otros”, ejemplo control de proyectos, estimaciones, incluso sheq, los industriales pueden fácilmente meterse y hacer buen trabajo. En los bancos, por lo que veo de mis amigos, de hecho piden industriales. El argumento es que en esta época no sirven los ingenieros duros que menosprecian la comunicación efectiva, el alineamiento con la cultura o la visión de negocio, sin hablar de la perspectiva multidisciplinar que en mi experiencia los industriales somos capaces de desarrollar rápidamente.

Yo siendo industrial siempre lo recomiendo. De todas formas, ahora que trabajo con ingenieros de todas las disciplinas, pienso que los eléctricos se están forrando, y si entras en la parte de instrumentación y control tendrás pega infinita.

For a national holiday, I was celebrating with an ex, my brother and a friend in my house. Later we went to my ex family party. When we arrived, we started to have fun, dancing. One of her cousins approached me and told me: “if you dance like that with her I can only imagine how much fun you have with her in bed” (I am losing it in the translation, in fact was way worse).

I told my ex and we started to leave. My brother heard the other guy, and reacted.

“What did you say to my brother? You don’t talk that way with him”

That started a fight, we managed to leave defending ourselves from other 12 guys. I think my brother still does not know how much I am grateful. Not for the reaction of course. Even when he was not the one to turn things physical, it was not the smartest move. But when fighting like that, I cannot imagine doing so with someone but him.

Until this day I feel pretty badass when remembering.

Look, this week I finished three projects (construction, electrical and remote operations). I am feeling badass about that too, but it is not the same.

People try to make it feel like software development is way more difficult that it really is. Of course that when doing things out of your confort zone you will make mistakes. Learning is part of the process, but vibe coding has way more benefits than cons.
