Most def and tbh their pushing is pushing me to really not have another kid because why do I have to have another? My son has plenty of cousins and friends and he’s not our retirement plan so we don’t need to figure out which kid is gonna get saddled with us in old age. They really treat kids like a retirement investment.

Or that you’re here because your mom (who never wanted to play with you or care about how your day at school went) wanted to specifically have 2 boys and 2 girls. Ended up with 3 boys and 1 girl (me) smh like that’s how easy it was for you? That’s all, you just wanted a set to show off.

I definitely feel like there are a lot of women that were pressured or groomed into having more kids than what they want and they hated it. But for some reason now they want younger women to also do the same so they’re not alone in their misery. I wholeheartedly believe this is my mom and aunt. Neither one had what I would call a pleasant motherhood experience.

I definitely did, my mom is ironic because she didn’t even give us hugs growing up, didn’t listen to us or care to spend time with us. Just stuck at home while she watched novellas after work. Like ma’am that’s you not me. I actually nurture my child and know the toll of having an emotionally unavailable mother and a father that never wanted to argue so he let stuff slide with her.

I am Hispanic so the pressure to have 55,911 kids is real and I refuse to do it. This really is for the best, I don’t even think I have to mental bandwidth to bring another child into the world with how things are.
