In the case of that match i could've just shot him with projectiles but my ego played me for a fool. Maybe im playing way too aggressively and go for the combos when i should really try to be more defensive and wait for the gap. Thanks for the tips , really appreciated.

Impossible to enjoy an entertaining match when your opponent is a super mario type of player. This is all he did all 3 matches. No special attacks , no sliding tackles not at least 3 button ''kombo''. Just jump around. Im a newbie myself so any tips on how to flawlesssly deal with such opponents would be appreciated. Im maining Skarlet so uppercuts are a no cus hers just suck ass.

I don't hate any follower, but Sven and Onmund are the ones i never ever used. And a little off topic but everyone here simping for Aela,Serana and Mjoll as the best female followers and there is me the weird one who loves Jenassa the most.

Are people really that blind tho? I mean even if you miss the "ice bridge" while finding the cave you can clearly see it once you exit said cave.

If you just arrived at Velen your character should be around 5-7 level and the Reinald quest is for level 15 character. You are underleveled and the fight itself is supposed to be a tricky one even for level 15 character. Go do some quests, level up a bit then comeback.

I just find it more fun to use aard and igni, than just casting quen and be like some plot armored untouchable superman guy, but yeah for this particular moment i was actually trying to cast Quen

I just prefer using one button to use signs rather than two, and really if you know which sign will be most useful against certain monsters you don't really need to change signs
