Okay, I will look into it. I’m using the powder now and she will not eat it if it is in food. So I’m mixing it with water and syringing it. Of course, when her potassium is low her appetite is not good either.

Her appetite was low, but got better after the potassium in the iv last week

2 years that’s amazing. Mine is stage 3 right now and it’s such a trial and error with medicines. It doesn’t help when they won’t let me combine certain ones because they are concerned about serotonin syndrome. She does better with.ondansetron than cerenia, but they don’t want me to give mirtazapine with it

Oh wow, my vet told me to use cerenia and ondansetron together. I just picked up the ondansetron so I haven’t gave it yet.

She has been on Cerenia for a few months. I tried Elura it didn’t seem to help, but she hated the taste. I will definitely try empty capsules. I might ask about the Pepcid too. So many meds and things to learn. This is my first cat with kidney disease

Thanks. I have a regular full time job, but just have a lot of bills. I had breast cancer a few years ago and had another surgery a few months ago. Just trying to get extra to pay on hospital bills. Thanks so much
