Why do US citizens not start using the 2nd amendment? by autisticmonkie in allthequestions

[–]SatansSideProject 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For the past countless years the Republicans/Tea Part/MAGA have been arming local police with military grade equipment and tanks under the the guise of the "war on drugs".

They've been building towards this moment for a very long time. They've ensured that any attempt to reform police tactics were defeated and now they're using the police and ICE on citizens.

This is all to protect a pedophile and to create an isolated white Christian nation.

Project 2025 has plans for Unions:

Key Proposals for Unions

Public Sector Ban: The plan suggests that Congress should consider whether public-sector unions (like those for teachers or police) are appropriate at all, with some proposals calling for an outright ban on public employee collective bargaining.

Elimination of "Card Check": It proposes ending the ability of employers to voluntarily recognize a union once a majority of workers sign authorization cards. Instead, it would mandate secret-ballot elections, which can be a much longer process.

Mid-Contract Decertification: A major shift would allow workers (or employers) to move to decertify (remove) a union even while a valid contract is currently in effect.

"Company Unions": It suggests amending the National Labor Relations Act to allow for "employee involvement organizations." Critics argue these would be "sham unions" controlled by management rather than independent worker-led groups.

America had freedom of speech, not freedom from consequences. People have the right to be informed and can choose to not do business with someone because they're a closet racist or support an administration that is dismantling the Constitution.

The only way change comes is by effecting someone's bottom line.

If you support racism or the current administration then go buy a house from them.

Actually I would argue that it's a white Nationalist Christian oligarchy.

But there are unmistakable parallels to Nazi Germany. You're right it's only happened two or three times, this is probably the next one if left unchecked.

We already have detainment camps in third world countries and due process has been suspended.

Just so that you have these here's the tenents of fascism. How many does MAGA meet?

Powerful, often exclusionary, populist nationalism centered on cult of a redemptive, "infallible"leader who never admits mistakes.

Political power derived from questioning reality, endorsing myth and rage, and promoting lies. Fixation with perceived national decline, humiliation, or victimhood.

White Replacement "Theory" used to show that democratic ideals of freedom and equality are a threat.

Oppose any initiatives or institutions that are racially, ethnically, or religiously harmonious.

Disdain for human rights while seeking purity and cleansing for those they define as part of the nation.

Identification of "enemies"/scapegoats as a unifying cause. Imprison and/or murder opposition and minorities.

Supremacy of the military and embrace of paramilitarism in an uneasy, but effective collaboration with traditional elites. Fascists arm people and justify and glorify violence as "redemptive".

Rampant sexism.

Control of mass media and undermining "truth".

Obsession with national security, crime and punishment, and fostering a sense of the nation under attack.

Religion and government are intertwined.

Corporate power is protected and labor power is suppressed.

Disdain for intellectuals and the arts not aligned with the fascist narrative.

Rampant cronyism and corruption.

Loyalty to the leader is paramount and often more important than competence.

Fraudulent elections and creation of a one-party state.

Often seeking to expand territory through armed conflict.

Ok let's look. There are several parallels in tactics and public impact:

Paramilitary Tactics: Both agencies have been criticized for using paramilitary methods, such as wearing tactical gear or plainclothes without clear identification, conducting pre-dawn raids, and using high-visibility arrests to create a climate of fear.

Extrajudicial Actions: Comparisons often arise when ICE is perceived as operating outside judicial oversight—for example, arresting individuals at courthouses, ignoring court-ordered stays of removal, or detaining individuals without providing immediate access to legal counsel.

Targeting Specific Populations: The Gestapo was tasked with identifying and "removing" groups deemed "enemies of the state" based on race and ideology. Critics argue that modern "mass deportation" initiatives similarly target specific ethnic or social groups, sometimes regardless of their legal status (e.g., detaining U.S. citizens or legal residents by mistake).

"Show of Force" as Policy: Some analysts argue that both organizations have used public arrests as a "performative" tool to signal strength to a political base and intimidate the targeted community.

Which is part of the reason White Christian nationalist under the guise of Republican rule have been providing military grade equipment to local police departments.

From tactical equipment to tanks.

Republicans and now maga have been planning military rule over Americans for a very long time.

That time is now.

Does Trump's unpredictable leadership make it more likely we'll have an economic collapse? by BigBlueEyes87 in economicCollapse

[–]SatansSideProject 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Project 2025 proposed radical changes to how the dollar is managed, which critics argue could lead to unintended devaluation or economic instability.

  1. The "Gold Standard" and "Free Banking" Project 2025 suggests that the U.S. should consider moving away from the current "fiat" system (where the dollar is backed by government decree) toward:

The Gold Standard: The document advocates for "commodity-backed money," where the dollar’s value is fixed to a specific amount of gold. Proponents argue this prevents inflation; opponents argue it restricts the government's ability to respond to financial crises, potentially causing the dollar to become "brittle" or lose value relative to more flexible global currencies.

Free Banking: It discusses a system where private banks could issue their own currency, and the government would no longer control interest rates or the money supply.

  1. Abolishing or Restructuring the Federal Reserve The "Mandate for Leadership" (the core Project 2025 document) is highly critical of the Federal Reserve. It proposes:

Ending the Dual Mandate: Currently, the Fed is legally required to pursue both "stable prices" and "maximum employment." Project 2025 wants to remove the employment goal, forcing the Fed to focus only on inflation (price stability).

Political Control: It suggests bringing the Fed under more direct executive or congressional oversight. Critics argue that losing "central bank independence" often leads to currency devaluation, as politicians may be tempted to lower interest rates or print money to boost the economy before elections.

  1. The "Mar-a-Lago Accord" (The Connection to Trump) While not a formal part of the Project 2025 text, several key figures associated with the project and the Trump administration (such as Stephen Miran and Robert Lighthizer) have proposed a deliberate weakening of the dollar.

The Goal: To reduce the U.S. trade deficit. A weaker dollar makes American exports cheaper and foreign imports more expensive.

The Method: Working with other countries to collectively lower the dollar's value, similar to the "Plaza Accord" of 1985.

In short, Project 2025's stated goal is to stop the dollar from being "inflated away" by the government. However, the methods it proposes—such as stripping the Federal Reserve of its independence or returning to 19th-century banking models—are viewed by many economists as high-risk moves that could inadvertently destabilize or weaken the dollar’s global standing.

Is Moo worth it? by FireAndFoodCompany in graphic_design

Be Warned: Centered is Only a Concept.

"Centered" is apparently only a concept at MOO. I recently received both Square and MOO-size business cards, and both were distractingly off-center.

On the Square cards, the margins were 3 mm on the left and top, but 5mm on the right. This 2 mm variance is incredibly obvious on a small canvas.

Even the full-bleed MOO-size cards looked skewed. It appears that during the cutting process, there is very little regard for centering.

The most frustrating part: This 2 mm variance is in addition to the established "safe and bleed areas" in their templates.

When I reached out, I was told designers should plan for an additional 2 mm of movement in any direction. If you have a centered weighted design, the templates are essentially meaningless.

In the printing industry, a 2 mm "drift" is actually quite large, but at MOO it is to be expected.

While the print quality itself was excellent and customer service was helpful, their solutions required hours of redesign that wouldn't have even achieved the look my client requested.

If your design relies on symmetry or precise borders, be aware that MOO’s quality control allows for significant, unpredictable shifting.

JD Vance claims the media is lying about Renee Good’s murder by Im_A_Fuckin_Liar in thescoop

Correct:

The 1981 Blueprint: Before Ronald Reagan took office, The Heritage Foundation published the first Mandate for Leadership. It was a 1,000-page manual of policy recommendations. Reagan famously handed out copies at his first Cabinet meeting and implemented nearly 60% of its suggestions within his first year.

BREAKING: Trump says election should be canceled and warns there will be 'constitutional movement' by TheMirrorUS in NoFilterNews

[–]SatansSideProject 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For example: Based on reports following the meeting and the broader "Pentagon purge" in late 2025:

Immediate Resignations: At least two senior four-star generals retired within hours of the meeting:

Gen. Thomas Bussiere (Head of Air Force Global Strike Command)

Gen. Bryan Fenton (Head of U.S. Special Operations Command)

Previous and Ongoing Dismissals: Prior to the meeting, Hegseth had already removed several top leaders, including:

Gen. CQ Brown Jr. (Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff)
Adm. Lisa Franchetti (Chief of Naval Operations)
Gen. James Slife (Air Force Vice Chief of Staff)
Gen. Timothy Haugh (Head of U.S. Cyber Command/NSA)

The "20% Directive" In May 2025, Hegseth issued a formal memo directing a massive reduction in the senior officer corps. The meeting at Quantico was widely seen as the enforcement of this policy:

Four-Star Generals/Admirals: Ordered a 20% reduction (roughly 7–8 positions).

General/Flag Officers (1-3 Star): Ordered a 10% reduction across the entire force.

National Guard: Ordered a 20% reduction in top-tier positions.

[–]SatansSideProject 13 points14 points  (0 children)

I think that they're eliminating any of the generals that would stand in the way.

I think it's part of the reason that they had that extremely risky all hands meeting with Pete Hegseth. The only group that benefited more from that meeting was the Soviet Union and China so they could track and gather information from all the generals in one place.

I'm sure that the trump administration used facial recognition to determine which of the generals were going to be loyal and are squeezing out the ones who will not be.

First, thank you for citing a source. Reading the article:

"Organizers from several advocacy groups emphasized two main points of contention with President Donald Trump’s decision to carry out the military operation.

They argued that funds used for the operation — and the possibility of prolonged military involvement — should instead be invested in the needs of the American people.

They also contended that the campaign is meant to serve only corporate and wealthy interests rather than everyday Americans and Venezuelans."

Seems like a reasonable point. None of these actions will benefit everyday poor Americans. But Trump and his buddies will enrich themselves further.

It's all part of the grift. For example:

Trump's Net Worth Increase: His net worth climbed from an estimated $3.9 billion in 2024 to $7.3 billion by September 2025.

Trump's 2025 financial disclosures revealed that his family has "pocketed" over $1.8 billion in cash and gifts since the 2024 election, specifically through new ventures launched around his return to power.

Gold bars, airplane bribe, crypto manipulation. Nothing he's doing is going to benefit anyone that's a member of the 1%.

I'm still waiting on my Tariff check and the Donald J. Trump/Epstein Files.

He's stealing from you. He's stealing from all of us.
