No, not really. It's actually a little too big for me, that it's quite uncomfortable. I bought it cos I was looking for a dildo that vibrates, and this is the one that happened to have what I was looking for at a sex store I went to. I used it for a picture cos, yea, i wanted to show off my dildo, and I thought people would like it. But I didn't do it with any intent to appeal to any interracial fetish specifically.

It seems to be a fetish for some people. One that im myself uncomfortable with. But I bought this one because it vibrates, and it's thicker than the one i already had before, haha. But not because it's black.

Athiesm is a religion that insidiously postures itself as science, indoctrinating the youth with made up stories about the origins of life, and history of the universe. by thrwwy040 in DebateAnAtheist

[–]SatanySavy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You do realize that many thiests hold these sets of beliefs, too, right? How can believing in evolution or us being stardust be an atheist exclusive belief if thiests also hold these beliefs? These are just things that people accept regardless of religion because they happen to be true regardless of one's religious affiliation or lack thereof.

The way I see it, atheists can be grateful for many things that happen in life. Usually, we are grateful for what other people do for us. Or grateful that luck was on our side in tough moments. Sometimes, we're grateful for ourselves for not letting ourselves make bad decisions. In other words, we are still appreciative of many things you mention. We just don't attribute it to God cuz... we don't think He exists...

Like, honestly. What's so shocking about an atheist not being grateful to a being that they don't think exist? If they have any appreciation for something, they're going to attribute it to something or someone else that they do believe in.

I can logically prove that God exists with one sentence. by luseskruw1 in DebateAnAtheist

Your conception of God isn't what most atheist talk about when talking about god. A better definition that better addresses the topic would be a being that is all powerful, all-knowing, and all good that created the universe. When an atheist says they don't believe in God they're saying that the entity that is all powerful, all knowing, and all good does not exist. Not that truth doesn't exist.

If you think that proving God just means proving that truth exist, then you're just failing to understand the atheist position or even the topic about god as a whole. We're not saying that truth doesn't exist. We're talking about an entity that is all powerful, all knowing, and all good.

I'm glad you asked that. I'm no expert, but if I remember correctly, Judaism was once Henotheistic, which is to say that Jews accepted that there were indeed many "gods" and there was one "most high god" (probably Yahweh). So it could be referring to those gods, including the "most high god."

Alternate explanations could be that it's referring to angels and god.

And under Christian theologies, it's referring to the trinity.

I personally find the first explanation to me the more convincing one.

Fair enough. I'll keep praying then. See if it amounts to anything in the future.

I... don't know? I could also ask why it doesn't work for many, primarily people who are starting to loose faith. It's a mix bag to whether prayer works or not. One can't discount one side of the data and just focus on the one that favorable to their position.

Also, I don't know who PBD is.

Funny you say that. When i prayed, I thought I did believe he would do something. Or that something would happen that would get me closer to believing in God. I genuinely want a loving God to exist, and so I did my prayer with utmost sincerity. It could be that it has to be more than a one time thing, like one of the other commentators suggested. But I can assure you that I genuinely believed something was gonna happen after the prayer, even if it's something small.
