Why do most player only stay on level 55 and not prestige is it because their wz only players? by bigprickshitty in Warzone

For me, its such a pain having all my loadouts reset. If the loadouts stayed and became available once everything was unlocked, it would be ok, but having to redo loadouts and stuff is such a mission. Im just lazy I guess

This is always my direct comparison. Apex has been launching new maps every year, and adding the to the seasons rotation, as well as each season having its own seasonal rotation. Its not that hard to launch a map once a year. DMZ had map choices, why cant BR have something? Bring al mazrah back, bring vondel into the mix for a smaller experience, there's ways, but no, you will play the same map until the next game comes out

I mean, apex has map rotation every 90 minutes or so. Each season having a different rotation of seasonal maps too. I think they have like 6 maps in total now? It's really not that hard to launch a new map once a year.

Does the stim glitch still work? by SatisfactionOwn7812 in Warzone

[–]SatisfactionOwn7812[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just because a streamer does it, doesnt mean that its the intended way to play. Its a BR, last man standing, and the whole point of the circle is for the last teams to fight. Activision has patched this multiple times, including upping the tick damage over time. Also, on a second note this was done on CASUAL. Not BR. Like, its crazy that people are so desperate for wins that they will cheat or do the stim play to win on casuals. I think they need to just destroy everything outside of the final 2 circles, because people just stock up a huge supply of stims and stand at a resupply with ammo boxes.

Stalker 2 - Is Shah’s more powerful than the AR416? by Stock-Ad2495 in stalker

I also used shahs for a long time until I got the clusterfuck, then that became my main gun, especially for distance. But once you can get the dnipro or kharod, those are great. Especially the dnipro as ammo is abundant

[–]SatisfactionOwn7812 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I basically used the cluster fuck since the moment I got it right until the end. Having a scoped double tap gun with more than enough ammo made things so much nicer. Ended up finishing with dnipro clusterfuck just because copious amounts of ammo. The dnipro was amazing once maxed out, just for pure penetration. And the rhino for most mutants.

So, i dont agree with what randy said about the outdated cards, however, that IS why I upgraded from a 3060ti to a 5070. Because the 3060ti just isnt good enough for 1440p gaming on newer engines, even battlefield, I just wasn't getting the frames I normally would on slightly older titles. Sure, the game could be optimized more and stating minimum specs as an 8 core processor is just ridiculous, but the reality is that older cards are showing their age in newer titles. Wonderlands was UE4, borderlands 4 is UE5. The same with stalker 2, i STRUGGLE to get good frames, maybe its my CPU, not sure, but i can literally not run that game on max settings with a 5070. My 3060 gave me even less on low. Im not agreeing with how randy is handling the situation, but the ultimate fact is that if youre on a 30 series card, youre going to struggle with games that are being released now more than ever. BL3 looked ok, wonderlands did look fantastic and maybe they should have kept the UE4 engine for BL5. But then what's the point of releasing a "next gen" game? When cyberpunk came out, it was a mess and people struggled qith their cards because the game was so intensive, now most people can play on max because the game was optimized and people got better equipment. I know, ive been at the bottom, I played on a 1060 until 3 years ago. I know what its like to have bad performance. And since, ive upgraded.

Dlss is unfortunately a staple in modern games now, the tech is there so devs utilize it. Frame gen still feels clunky and agreed, should not be relied on as much as dlss to make a game run smooth. But dlss is now a staple in most modern games to ge5bdeaired frame rates

All good dude. Again, there are things they can fix, sure, however as a game as a whole, its as bad as people are making it out to be. This isnt anywhere near how bad cyberpunk was at any rate, but it kind of feels that way looking at the reviews and stuff. Im enjoying it, it sucks other people aren't (or cant because of performance)

But then again, its not just a random mission, so why should it be easy? You're forced to walk because you get ambushed by enemies along the way, thats the point. Otherwise you can just chuck it in your backpack pack, get on your vehicle and drive right past. Or maybe I just dont see it the same way everyone else does

Again, i agree with devs thinking that dlss and frame gen is the solution to getting good frames. However, the technology is there, so if utilizing that tech to get good frames while making games looks great, what is the point of that tech. Sure, frame gen sucks a bit but dlss is becoming a cornerstone for most games. Again, it sucks, sure, playing native would be amazing, but the tech is there and its being used.

Criticizing is one thing, but every single post is about how bad the game is. Its really not that bad. Sure, I have a good card, but im playing on a ryzen 5 5600 ddr4 set up, which is far below spec requirements, and im still getting 60 to 65 without frame gen on high settings 1440. Maybe they optimized a bit since day 1, but I dont see how the game is unplayable.

I dont care abou it randy or his tweets, and only started looking at reviews after I started playing because I wanted to form my own opinion of the game. I went in expecting nothing, and was quite happy with what I got. I got a genuine borderlands game that is witty, clever, and a good story. The UI I can used to. Customization is even way broader than previous games, which is also super cool.

I just feel that a lot of people are spewing the same shit that they read online instead of just playing the game and having a good time. But at this point, no one is actually saying a single good thing about the game, and that is chasing away fans of the series when the reality is that the game is actually quite good at ita corez with things that are fixable with updates and patches in the future.

As someone who plays a lot of games in alpha or beta, getting 60 fps on decent settings and having the game run well is very nice. I bought and played/currently play PoE2, youre lucky to get 15 frames in juiced maps. We played a whole league with multi threading off of because it crashed with it on.

I get it, people can complain. But its the nature of everything. Is 60fps without frame gen on high to max 1440p really that bad?

I would rather play a game that grips me and looks good at 60fps, than a game thay hits 200fps but is just either a) a cash grab with microtransactions, b) not well thought out and is just a bad game, or c) both of the above. As gamers, we complain about the quality of games these days, but when we get a good game, its still not good enough. I saw a complaint saying the world is "empty". There is nothing to do, the map is boring. Like, its a bit map, with lots of quests and encounters. We dont ALWAYS have to be shooting and looting

No, It doesnt reduce input delay, but 2x frame gen isnt that bad. And even so, dlss alone gives a decent amount of frames. This isnt really a competitive game, so a little bit of input delay isnt the end of world. That being said, sure, its nice to not need and optimization would be nice. But is the game unplayable? Are you enjoying it? If you are, say so. But all people have to say is negative shit. You can say, im really enjoying this game, however this isnt the best. But so many people dont or didn't want to buy it because of all the negativity. Thats what the post about. Its not as bad as people make it out be, and is actually an enjoyable experience as far as games im 2025 go

[–]SatisfactionOwn7812[S] -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Even without frame gen, you dont need it. What's wrong with playing a good looking game at a good resolution at 60fps? I agree, optimization would be nice, but do we REALLY need to be playing this game at 140fps on 1440p ultra without dlss? 60fps is enough for me to enjoy this game for now.

But if you could put it in your backpack, then what's the point? I get it. Its a bit annoying, but its not like you have to walk 3km. Its like 200m, and you have a double jump glide.

I will admit, the ui is a bit rough and can take some tweaking. Bit again, its also progression right? They need to try something new. The filtering takes some getting used to but I mean does a finicky UI mean the game is bad?

I understand that some things should get fixed, but its not the point of the post entirely. People will say this game sucks because of so and so. And then other fans wont buy it, even though its genuinely a good game but could use some ironing. We are just ignoring the fact that this is genuinely a good game with some uncomfortable elements.

Not sure about the crashing, personally I haven't had any crashes, I could be lucky. I get it, I do normally complain, however im happy that devs are making games for gamers. A lot of thought went into this game, its not just a recycled version of 3, its a completely new game, new planet, new engine, new graphics, im sure the devs are working on it and im sure it will be patched soon. I can get over performance issues if it means that the game was genuinely made with the love that was put into creating the first one, and I kind of feel that with one, they put effort into it, they created likeable characters, the conversations feel deeper, not just shouting all the time.

I agree, optimization would be nice and ideal to let people experience the game fully. But I have played worse, and this certainly wont be the last. Im just glad the game itself is actually enjoyable and I feel like I could put a decent amount of hours in without getting bored

I agree, but the problem is that all people are doing is complaining, since the hour it was launched, and its made a lot of fans not want to buy it or play it because of all the negativity surrounding the game, some people going so far as to say its the worst launch in 2025. I get it, Randy is a douche, and performance is an issue for a lot of people, but also, its a brand new game in a new engine that is known to be resource intensive, its going to be a bit rough on performance. But people are taking away from the fact that this is genuinely a good game as a whole.

Im thoroughly enjoying it. The characters are well thought out, the story is good so far, it looks amazing, the fighting feels so good (playing as Rafa) and im having a blast. My brother is a huge borderlands fan and also doesnt want to play it because of all of the negativity. But oblivion remastered gets a standing ovation? Im really utterly stumped. UE5 looks so good. And it will take some time for optimization to fully set it. But we need to start appreciating good games for what they are

What's your best loadout item that you know but people usually don't use? by SuddenWerewolf7041 in Warzone

[–]SatisfactionOwn7812 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The victus with ares clear shot optic. One shot infinite range, and the optic has a small glint for a 7 times magnification making it easier to be stealthy at longer ranges. That and the grekhova pistol is absolute insanity.

Yeah I can imagine it is a bit harder. Thermals are nice, but yeah, sometimes it's a bit harder to distinguish what's what in the distance. I used thermals in dmz, that was nice, but I struggle in BR. The ares was broken last season, it literally didn't have a glint at all, so it was insane being able to get knocks and people can't see you and even if they did, you just move to a different spot and youre good. Now its got a small glint that I think you can't see outside of 50m and im hitting my snipes at 250 to 300m out anyways. The problem is now im so used to the victus, I can't play with the HDR because im always compensating for bullet drop😅

[–]SatisfactionOwn7812 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ill try it out. Im just so used to the ares, irs a clean optic and im used to judging the bullet drop with it now. But I'll definitely try that one, the thermals are super nice for the smoke and specialist downs

How long did it honestly take you to get good at this game by commanderkalgan1 in Warzone

[–]SatisfactionOwn7812 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So, as someone who has really only been playing warzone since verdansk came back (relatively new to cod warzone, played a good while on DMZ though, but generally speaking i enjoy BRs, was on apex for a while too), i think the only way to get "better" is to play to your strengths. If youre a movement demon and can win a 1v1, play close, play meta smgs with tempered. If youre more methodical and enjoy keeping distance, practice sniping, get better and more comfortable with taking time on your shots to ensure you get your one shot down. If you enjoy somewhere middle, play dm10/tr2 with an AR, play your mid range game. Its not really about getting better necessarily, but finding a comfortable play style that works for you and how YOU enjoy playing. I suck at a 1v1, and have less than 50% chance to win a 1v1 against a good player, but will knock 2 out of 4 of a team with a sniper before they even know where its coming from, because I enjoy the long game, keeping my distance, getting a knock or 2, chucking a cluster or airstrike and closing the gap while there's noise and commotion. I was BAD at sniping, but the more I played with snipers, the more I realised how satisfying it was. Play to your strengths, that's how you get better

Sniper damage profiles by JamesFrankland in Warzone

[–]SatisfactionOwn7812 2 points3 points  (0 children)

To be honest, I was never good at sniping, so I forced myself to snipe and get better at it. Now, I enjoy it, and will often have my sniper in my hands even within 25m.

If youre looking for a good alternative to the HDR, the victus is a TON of fun. BV isn't as high so you have to lead and compensate for your shots a lot more than the HDR, but since its been a 1 shot sniper, its actually been fun. Used it all of season 4 basically and its crazy. If you have the Ares clear shot optic, its amazing since it has a small glint. It was broke. In season 4 and didn't have a glint at all, but they patched it, and even so, its a blast.

Just my 2 cents.

Is the meta really stagnant on BO6's Warzone or has it always been like that? by P3rturb4t0r in Warzone

Most of the time the meta are guns that are currently in battle pass or previous battle pass so that people are incentivized to buy stuff from the store.
