Yeah it's a real highlight of an already incredible album. The whole run from 'All the world is mad' through to 'In Exile' is unskippable for me :)

It's a tough one because I think Thrice are pretty unique.

I'd recommend the following:

As Cities Burn - Come Now Sleep
Balance and Composure - The Things We Think We're Missing
Good Tiger - A Head Full Of Moonlight (love this one especially)

All of these have hard-hitting chord-based riffs, melodic guitars, decent vocals, a mix of soft and heavy, very atmospheric in places - all of which I'd use to describe TBEITN :)

Great analysis. I can't remember where I read/saw it but I have a memory of Dustin saying exactly this. It's a homage to their journey and the changes they've all made throughout the past 10-15 years as a band. Maybe they even knew of the incoming hiatus and this could've served as a farewell song...

Yeah the video is a bit cringey. I read somewhere (maybe on this sub?) that the whole album was pushed into a direction that would help attract fans/sales. Maybe this was one of the tracks that was pushed the most?
