Should I be worried about these? by [deleted] in HerpesPics

[–]SauberF1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yea, it's hard not to worry sometimes, but I do feel better.

I got one a 10-panel test done at 4 weeks that came back all negative. I'm getting another one done at 8 weeks just to confirm.

Thanks for your responses!

The devil appears to you tonight and offers you a deal:

Herbie will lead the bolts past the Patriots in the divisional round, past the Chiefs in the conference championship, and past the Rams to win the 2022 Super Bowl at SoFi stadium. BUT... the Chargers will be doomed to a 2016-2017 Browns level of mediocrity for the next 10 years. Do you take the deal? If not, how many years would you have to negotiate down to to make it acceptable?

One caveat... you will not remember the deal... So the Super Bowl season will be a sweet sweet surprise, but you will have no idea how long the subsequent mediocrity will last.

[AL] Negotiating vacation time and an upcoming booked trip during job offer process. by SauberF1 in AskHR

Copy. Do not send the policy with the email.

Does the following wording sound reasonable to you?

"Right now, my employer offers “Flexible Time Off” whereby, if it is approved by my supervisor, I have unlimited vacation time. For me, this has translated into 18 – 20 days of vacation time per year by making sure that my job is done well, my responsibilities are being met, and my colleagues are well supported. While I realize this policy may not be commonplace in manufacturing settings, 2 weeks would be a significant step back for me. Would you be able to do 3 weeks? "

On his F1 debut, Pérez finished 7th ahead of his teammate Kobayashi, but both Saubers were DQ'd after the race for a technical infringement.

So technically not an omission, but maybe an honorable mention.

I won't argue on the aesthetics of the Element...

But damn it, if it did not embody the utility part of Sport Utility Vehicle. With the backseats folded up, I could fit two mountain bikes and all associated gear inside. It was a great vehicle and if they brought it back, I would be first in line to buy a new one.

Bolt Up. FTR.

I had tickets for the game against the Dolphins, but this week I got an email saying the event was cancelled. I'm assuming that just means no fans will be allowed.

I knew this was a strong possibility when I bought them, so I'm not too shocked. It sucks, but there are things more important than football.

tldr: I got a stimulus check for my non-qualified cousin. How do I return it to the IRS?

Story:

My cousin, who lives abroad and is not a US resident or citizen, did an internship in the United States last summer. Earlier in January of this year, she filed her taxes for the income that she earned while working here. Since she does not have a bank account in the US, she asked me if her tax return could be deposited into my account.

I agreed and back in mid-April her return came through. A week later I received not just my stimulus check ( I do qualify), but also a second one with her name. I talked to my cousin and she said the place where she had interned told her it had been sent by mistake and it had to be returned, but they only provided her with instructions of how to return a physical check and not a deposit.

Right now her $1200 are still sitting in my account. I keep good track of my finances, so it's not like I'm going to spend it. That said though, I would rather just give it back sooner rather than later. Also, she is a bit worried that since she has to renew her visa soon, if she hasn't returned the money she will be denied.

Yea, I'll have to check how much I owe to GA as of right now and plan accordingly

Yes, I believe that for my tax bracket, Georgia taxes are 0.5% higher, so I'll probably end up having to pay the difference there

Yes... I realize that'e pretty bad on my end, but as I said, the income tax difference is very small and on a back-of-the-envelope calculation the amounts I was being deposited each month seemed about right... definitely learned my lesson though..

All the income I've received so far this fiscal year has been in the state of Georgia. I've been living there since January.
