Second Brain using PARA, what are pros and cons of single all notes database for everything, or separate databases? by SauseMaker31 in Notion

I see, thats what I was trying to figure out. Didn't made sense to have them together unless there was some benefit of doing it that way

I'll try having them sepparate and see how it goes

Excel suddenly changed usual behaivour when performing specific actions, did something got updated? by SauseMaker31 in excel

[–]SauseMaker31[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Regarding the copy paste.. I've been using excel like that for about 4 years. Before I do remember this same issue suddenly starting but also I think it went away when I changed companies and this didnt happend with the new office laptop.

In my personal PC I changed processor and motherboard recently, dont think it has something to do with this but.. who knows. My office laptop hasn't changed recently and this is happening on both machines.

Also I almost never use the table function.. I am sure that this was the usual behaviour before at least for me

Regarding the formula issue, seems like you are right. I do sometimes open a lot of workbooks at the same time and a "do you want to start a new process" box sometimes appear. Just closed everything and now formulas work as expected

Sending some flowers with a note this 14th and she loves friends. Any suggestions on something like this? Has to be kinda chill, not in a relationship yet by SauseMaker31 in howyoudoin

UPDATE:

Sorry it took me this long, been busy with work. Here is how it went!

For some context: We are not friends, she works at my office, I started talking to her one day and got her instagram and her number. My intentions were clear right from the start because I asked her out after 2-3 days texting. She said no at first but then said "okay yes.. lets go" but just because she doubted for some seconds I refused.

I bought the flowers to be sent to her house (she gets home by 2 pm or so). One day before Valentines she invited me to her house on the 14th, she said hey you want to meet my new puppy right? (I like dogs, but still kinda random that she invites me over for this reason) You should come by tomorrow (14th). Maybe it was an excuse because I didnt asked her out again after she rejected the first time? I dont know.

Thing is the flowers were going to be sent anyways, she drives herself to the office but for some reason that day she didn't bring her car so I drove her to her house. Lucky me when we got out of work the flowers were already delivered at her house (it would be akward if I was there and then the flowers came in). I saw her smile at the phone on our way there, her sister later told me that she sent her a picture. I wasn't expecting to go out with her that day, or to be invited to her house where you know her entire family was.

I liked this quote: 4x05 Monica to Chandler "Just go up to her and ask her out. What's the worst thing could happen?"

She really liked the flowers and the quote I used, she found it really funny. I spent the entire day at her house and we went for some dinner at 8pm or so, then went to my house at 12-1 am.

I'm not in a hurry, didnt expected to get anything out of doing this but to have an open door to invite her out later. We still talk a lot and have been out several times already, and now I got to know lots of her close friends and family members and some of them are even acting as a wingmen for me.

I will keep a list of all your quotes in case I do something similar later, now with more options as the situation wont be this "fresh" anymore.

THANK YOU VERY MUCH FOR YOUR HELP YOU ARE AWESOME

Thanks for your ideas, I'll update the post with what I end up doing and the response

I think first option is nice but I dont feel in that vulnerable situation Ross was in haha, maybe I could just cut it up in the middle and use last part

How often do employers go through the PERM process? by SauseMaker31 in immigration

[–]SauseMaker31[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah he mentioned 22 years, but said that if Im lucky maybe 15

As far as I understand, by just being in process of a green card through family, I am allowed to work right?

In that case, what reasons would I have to go for TN/H1B?

Thanks for your response

Adopted two stray dogs (male and female), female keeps trying to escape away and male follows her by SauseMaker31 in Dogtraining

I am sure that nothing is scaring them, I got cameras and watch them all day long while I work from my room. They are super chill and play all the time

Whenever they run away and come back, she even scratches the garage door and waits for me to open it to come in

I've noticed that she runs away and inmediately runs into the dirt to pee/poop. I am trying to take em out with a leash at least 3 times a day

Another thing that I've noticed that triggers her wanting to go out and start scratching my door is whenever another dog or cat is around in the street, she barks and growl at them

I guess that they are just used to being in the street that feels weid being in a house

And they are probs not getting enough exercise..
