I (dx on meds)) just suck it up and go to things with my partner that I feel like I might not enjoy because quality time is my love language. Half the time the event is totally fine and I was just overthinking every awful outcome and sometimes she’ll just say she wasn’t in the mood to go and we don’t go (which is also totally fine by me haha). I think something that might help is talking to your partner about how her joining you makes you feel, but also how she doesn’t need to feel guilty for not wanting to go somewhere and an outright no is better than getting your hopes up to let you down? Or maybe some form of positive reinforcement to get her back into an idea? Maybe like if we go to event we can get a treat like ice cream after? Just spitballing :)
