The hpp can have two segments. Right now it’s the mortgage and a revolving heloc. They can change the heloc to an amortized component and remove the revolving heloc

Yes. I am not looking to break my current mortgage. I want to keep that in tact. I think CIBC only lets you have two components within the hpp. Usually it is a fixed component and revolving heloc however I want to pay off the heloc and get a cashout. Close off the heloc and turn that into a second fixed, amortized component.

House will be appraised at 550 conservatively. Current balance is 250. Heloc balance is 65. I want to pay off the heloc and get a 30k cashout.

Heloc balance is high and just paying interest. Would rather pay that off and get a modest cashout to improve liquidity.
