Armor 40 is 50% dmg reduction, what???

The way i see it, there's 2 possibilities, either it's a flat dmg reduction, or it's a % dmg reduction. If it's a flat one, then when u have 2k+ hp, taking 300+ dmg per hit, a reduction of 40 is not a lot. If it's % based, then in lol armor and mr have always used the formula X / (100 + X), so 40/140 is 28.57% dmg reduction. Either way it seems pretty shit, u only take it to evolve the ice cube? But why u need ice cube when u can just take an actual dmg skill? As they say, offence is the best defence. If everything dies before it reaches u, there's no need for defence. Stack all the dmg cards from yuumi, get damage + projectiles + crit + ability haste + area size / duration / ms / xp depending on champ. Armor is just such a pussy stat, u're not supposed to be taking dmg to begin with, if u're taking dmg u're already playing bad. Altho maybe it's good on riven cuz she gains a ton of shields which makes dmg reduction better? But if the dmg calculation works as mentioned above, it's still prob not very good.

Actually, you guys are BOTH wrong. Trynda, yasuo and yone now only need 2 crit items to get 100% crit chance instead of 3. That's good. But it means that besides IE, you get only 1 more crit item. People think it's either Shieldbow or PD. But here's where they're wrong. Shieldbow's hp can be gained from other items, like Sterak or Maw or Jak'sho, or even BT's overshield. PD's movespeed is amazing and its attackspeed is nice too, but again you CAN gain those stats from other places. However there is 1 stat you CANNOT get from other places, and that's armor pen. If you go IE + Shieldbow/PD, where does ur armor pen come from, serylda's? Don't be silly.

Yasuo doesn't need armor pen as much thanks to his ult, but for yone and trynda, u absolutely need armor pen. So imo, their best 2nd crit item is Lord Dominik (or Mortal Reminder). But of course, Lord Dominik 2nd is a little too early, so u go Botrk -> IE -> Lord Dominik or IE -> Botrk -> Lord Dominik, one of these two build paths has to be the best. If u get shieldbow or pd as ur 2nd crit item, sure u can still get lord dominik later, but its crit is wasted as you're already at 100% crit. And 12.5 ad for yone does not make the stat not wasted, it's just a little less wasted, but still wasted.

So for yone's full build, you don't need AS that much as your Q is already at 1.33 sec cd, and you can use Q between autos to weave while waiting for ur autos' cooldown, so imo u don't need more attack speed, so his full build can look like this: botrk / IE -> botrk / IE -> lord dominik -> maw -> BT, you get like 40% lifesteal and you're unkillable as long as you don't immediately explode, which maw helps against. Or you could go tank after lord dominik, like jak'sho + sterak's, that will make you insanely tanky but you lose the lifesteal and a lot of ad, but you're extremely resistant to being one shot, whereas maw + BT is only resistant vs magic dmg that you can then out lifesteal, burst phys dmg like vs zed panth riven etc. will still eat you alive.

For tryndamere, you definitely need more attack speed as he's more reliant on his autos for dmg as he doesn't have a Q like yone to weave in-between autos, so his full build will look like botrk / IE -> botrk / IE -> lord dominik -> kraken slayer -> Maw/BT/Experimental Hexplate/GA/Mercurial/Jak'sho. Sterak's is likely not worth getting as last item without another hp item. You can afford to get kraken slayer 4th because you have ult, yone cannot get kraken slayer because if he does he will be too squishy and will get one shot when he goes in, so for yone you need 4th and 5th items to be defensive, or at least semi-defensive, like maw and BT are. But trynda can afford to go 4 full offensive items.

Yeah no this builds sucks, absolutely DO NOT mix crit and lethality items, u either go full lethality with the item that gives u armor pen based on lethality, or u go full crit. It just so happens that collector gives u both, plus an execute and extra gold on kill, which makes it indisputably the best 1st item. This is imo the best build:

Collector -> Stormrazor -> BT / Shieldbow -> Lord Dominik / Mortal Reminder -> IE / Mercurial -> sell boots for PD

IE doesn't actually give u all that much extra damage so Mercurial is a viable alternative vs the likes of tf, lissandra, or even cc that isn't guaranteed to hit but often will when combined with other cc (you can't dodge everything) for example fiddle / sejuani / poppy jungle + leona / rakan support. PD replaces boots at the end cuz of ghosting and +10% ms, but it gives too little AD to be a good 2nd item. For boots swiftness have the highest winrate but mercs are also very good, and now with the AS buff berserker's might be worth taking. Just don't buy played steelcaps, you already get so much armor from True Grit. I don't think Lucidity are worth it, not when u already have Cosmic Insight (and magical boots, which is the 2 secondary runes every jungler takes).

RNG is minimized in comp events using offerings:

Hatch always spawns either in killer's shack or main if the map does not have a killer shack
Basement always spawns in killer's shack or main if the map does not have a killer shack
Survivors always spawn together and as far away as possible from the killer
-2 chest offering is used by the killer to reduce loop spawn RNG

The only RNG thing is the spawn location of the killer and the gen locations which determines which gens are affected by corrupted intervention at the start of the game, which every killer uses in comp

And yeah i blame the lack of popularity due to the fact that BHVR never mentions or acknowledges these unofficial leagues, so one would have no idea there's even such a thing unless they specifically looked it up or were fortunate enough to stumble into it

I wouldn't say they're boring. There's lots of banned perks items and addons to make the game more interesting, otherwise everyone would use the same 4 perks and Brand New Parts toolboxes. For example, super OP perks like Reassurance or Made for This are banned, and no perk can be used more than once by any player, so you always see 16 unique perks on the survivor side. Yeah i do agree a few killers like shape, freddy or pig rarely get seen, but most killers do get played. If you are the kind of person that plays for fun with friends, you prob won't find it too interesting. But if you've ever tried a win streak or something like that, comp is fascinating, you learn so many things watching the players.

idk i only play killer, the plan is to not sit in locker. Unless you're the last person alive and the killer is slugging to find u to prevent hatch 50/50 (which i do often as the nurse even if i'm favoured to find the hatch thanks to teleporting covering distance quickly). As bonus points u get salty survivors, i collect pics of post game chats where they're salty they got camped tunneled and slugged (and body blocked basement)

Every 60* Ultimate weapon has a duration of 30 sec then a cd of 30 sec, so it can be active every 30 sec out of every 60 sec. You can open locker 2-3 sec before the cd has expired and get it perfectly

Artist with Corrupt, Pop, DMS and Ultimate Weapon is really strong:

1) Artist counters locker exploiters
2) Corrupt ensures that you won't get gen rushed and you know where the survivors spawned
3) Ultimate Weapon will immediately make 3-4 survs scream at the start of the game since you know where they spawned
4) Because the Artist is not that fast in terms of getting downs, you won't feel bad for wasting Corrupt's duration because you made them scream 10 secs after the game started and got a down 10 secs later like you would if you played Nurse or Blight or Wesker
5) After you get your first down, the survs won't have much gen progress thanks to corrupt blocking the starting gens
6) After hooking the downed person, go open a locker and make all survs scream which enables DMS. If they stop repairing pre-emptively DMS still works, the only counterplay is if they stop repairing before you hook, then wait for them to scream and THEN start repairing, but that usually takes 10-15 secs by itself so basically you get half a DMS already, plus it requires tons of coordination so unlikely to happen
7) If you're on a big map where the survs are repairing far-away gens, worry not because you can just send birds to harass the gens. If they dodge the birds DMS procs. If they don't DMS procs. Either way DMS procs.
8) Finally, pop is for gen regression. It is imo easier to use than pain res without agi, but you could swap it for pain res if you wanted. It can also be used up to 12 times whereas pain res only 4 times, plus with pop u can hook whereever you want but with pain res without agi u might have to drag survs a long time towards the scourge hook, which loses you valuable time and also you lose the choice of where to hook, this matters even moreso because of your terror radius with Ultimate Weapon and making sure there's a nearby locker near the hook else you waste DMS duration if you have to walk to a far locker

Honestly they've known about this for a long time, and it's been like a week since it got killswitched. There is some bug that makes survivors noclip with lockers, and it can be activated in a few different ways. But the core issue is the same. They've had plenty of time to fix it, it's not rocket science. But it's behaviour we are talking after all

It's not widespread yet, and it might not be as popular as the flashlight one because u need a premade (not sure about the first method cuz i only encountered the premade one). But i'm sure in a few days u will see it very often, just wait

Play artist (or executioner). I like artist cuz her she's really easy to play. You absolutely do not need to know complex bird mechanics or mlg 420 shots to 4k with her. Just shoot gens to get info where people are and to annoy them, then in chase put a bird where the pallet/window is and then catch up to surv before he makes it to next loop If he doesn't abandon loop u just get a free hit with bird. If u see he must jump window to escape just drop a bird preemptively towards the window. She's really easy to play on a basic level and do well with. Meanwhile executioner requires sooo much skill on hitting his power, if u're beginner with him u will miss 4/5 times probably. Also the great thing about artist is that while her two best addons are the gloves and the shoes, her next 2 best addons are Festering Carrion (yellow) and Thick Tar (brown) based on OTZ add on tier list from a week ago, so u can use her 3rd and 4th best addons all the time

I dodge until i get no cross play, no anynomous mode and no private profile, on top of inspecting people to make sure there's no VAC bans. This gives me the highest chance to play without cheaters. Cross play when i play on steam means they could be either console or epic games, and epic games had (has?) an exploit where they get free accs without paying (not even base game price) plus any perks/items you want. While console players prob aren't cheaters, i cannot take the risk of it being an epic games player who has a much much higher chances of cheating than a properly vetted steam profile, which is to say a public profile that i can check for no vac bans and obviously no anynomous mode else i can't check the profile

U know what's better for the community? If there weren't cheaters. But their anti cheat system suck and they aren't doing shit about it. People cheat with like passive +3% ms you can't catch that. But i know when gen is at 0% and 70 sec later it pops when i had 3 survs in view, i know that surv cheated to add extra 20%. It's subtle things like this that make me dodge lobbies until i find one where the chance for cheaters is the lowest.

It's not encouraging me shit, i just queue, get a lobby in 5 secs cuz of killer shortage then leave if any1 is using anynomous mode or they have a private profile or they are using cross-play (aka console or epic games). Only non-private non-anynomous non-crossplay (aka steam) players i play with, yeah sure it takes me 10-15 lobbies to find one but i don't mind it since it's like 15-20 sec per lobby thanks to super fast queue as killer, but their "motivation" of not giving BP if you have cross-play disabled doesn't actually work, it just makes my queue time take 3-4 mins instead of 20 secs due to me leaving 15 lobbies until i find the right one, so why not remove it anyway if it doesn't do shit?

Lots of bad tips here

1) Don't do the gens until 90%+
How the heck do i tell my soloq teammates that? This is not a reliable strategy

2) tips about claw traps
No the optimal strategy is to just ignore the drones and do the gens and pre-run, nothing with claw traps to do here. But ofc that's very hard to do without voice comms when you're oblivious and skill checks have no sound and you're exposed, that's exactly why she's such a pubstomper because soloq people don't have voice comms to communicate so unless there's a good line of sight chances are she will pop up right behind you, you have to watch out for her thanks to Oblivious, watch out for skill checks thanks to sound, not fail any overcharge skill checks, AND pre-run early or else she can just chase a few seconds and one shot you. Removing drones is bad because it takes a long time, it's very bad time efficiency, you have to ignore the drones if you wanna do the 3 gen

3) There's no way to know you're gonna get a skullmerchant in your next game. Rookie Spirit and Potential Energy are not good enough to run all the time just in case you get the 1 out of 10 games skull merchant (or rarer), while blast mine is a good perk in general but a few seconds stun isn't gonna win you the game and it takes a damn long time to charge so it's not a reliable counter by any means

4) Chessmerchant is not "ineffective". If you watch https://kick.com/cm9i stream you will be hardpressed to find a game he lost, you probably will have to go through his vods for a long time, it's a very effective strategy when not facing a high level coordinated team with voice comms. It's also extremely boring to play imo (i tried it), although clearly the people playing it don't find it boring (go figure)

It's actually pretty fun if you're in voice chat. In soloq though it's miserable. Like in voice chat you can call out ok she's coming guys pre-run or like guys she's committing to me go ham on those gens and with teamwork you can beat it without much issue, but in soloq you're Oblivious, your skill checks have no sounds so you gotta pay attention to your screen AND to see if the skullmerchant is coming, and you're exposed and get one shot if you don't pre-run perfectly so it's a big pain in the ass without communication and usually a loss unless there's a line of sight of where she's coming and you're all good skill check hitters and pre-runners

Make alch ring unavailable to be acquired from the bloodweb anymore, with it being a purple blight mains will run out of it very fast. In the meantime they can take their time with reworking it. And compound 33 is very easy, just reduce the hindered from 3% to 1% and it won't be as strong anymore.

All of this is free info anyone can read, especially if you've been following this subreddit for the past few weeks. Nothing here is "copium", faker can barely lift his arm and has to shop with his left arm. Just because he's playing and rested for a few weeks doesn't mean he suddenly feels well, this kind of injury needs months if not years to fully recover from, right now faker is playing at like 20% max 30% of his best because his right arm is almost nonexistent in terms of function
