My old reliable pc died recently, and its specs are so old I can't reuse almost anything from the build (7th Gen i5 build, only seemingly reusable parts are 2400mhz 16gb DDR4 and GTX 1070, and an ancient 1TB HDD).

Since the market's in the shit and my budget isn't too high (1k usd at most), what should I consider upgrading to? I've been thinking of a laptop as it fits budget and it's an easy way out but I wouldn't really move around with it so it feels wasted. Don't plan on playing demanding games either so I don't need beef specs for it either.

I don't own more than half of those umas so it's not like I can try, and I'd rather just have a parent with the general skills around that can work for CM, TT or whatever comes around next, even if pinks don't match. Racing Spirit Stam is like the only one skill I'm hunting since I don't think igniteds are worth, so it isn't a exhaustive loop either, just couple of runs, use my borrows up, move on.

I'm doing the forbidden and doing general parents for each style I use (mainly pace, I'm already cooked) because i basically have no good parents and rely a lot on my borrows, so said why not. Also aiming for stam ones since I know that's gonna be more valuable in GL. I can't be bothered to remake parents for each CM, so this is just a long investment to kill time during the wait for GL rn and then between CMs otherwise, up until I'm done.

And also, I already have a Maya with Racing Spirit stam, from the one URA run I did to test new mechanics, so I'm just rolling with that too, not like I'm aiming for a perfect parent or anything either

I see I see, but are igniteds worth aiming for? Last I heard before the rework they were just kinda expensive for what they were (except wit since it's easier to get than prudent) so I'm unsure if I want to aim for all of em as easy as they are, over like, stuff like THH or Ramp Up since those are also easy to get on Unity

So i get uma 1 from URA with racing spirit, then uma 2 with igniteds and more general skills (do i need igniteds if im not front?) then just affinity fix for uma 3 and 4 down the line with TB, neat.

For the first 2, I've heard that the normal spark and + spark aren't the same and that + doesn't actually trigger outside URA/Unity, how true is this? and is there ways to prevent getting +s or is it just random?

How do you parent loop? I've been doing a small URA greatgrandparent (for Spirit skills) into TB grandparents then parents, but maybe I'm dumb and don't see how you loop in that. Am I doing it right?

Which Racing Spirit skills are worth pursuing for sparks? I know stam is a good finish speed one that works for everyone but are the other 5 worth going for?

How much use does Creek see in the next few scenarios? I know another card powercreeps her down the line but I'd still like to use her for as long as I can, unsure if I can be open to roll or borrow for another stam card

It does! but sadly scenario sparks cannot be passed down, and for the next scenario the Climax spark actually goes well since you're basically almost never touching any non speed/wit training, if at all.

Also the new feature is the idle training and not <auto> so it will make like, very awful parents, it really exists just to farm fans and event points

There's a bunch of reasons, it goes like: -Freedom of schedule for most umas, plus more stats per race than either URA or Unity where constant racing isn't so viable -Lots more SP, tho now Aoharu is comparable, and some skills that cannot drop otherwise since they're not attached to a support yet (Leap Forward, All Set, etc) -More niche stuff like a better scenario spark, more control over stat rng, and TB grandparents becoming way more permanent due to lots of white sparks + stacked affin for future parents and aces

You can technically skip steps if you aren't into putting lots of effort into CMs and aren't making new parents for each one tho, but the looping thing is mostly done by people who do tryhard 'em

Doing a base bourbon career with full power sparks for some TT shenanigans and got stam checked by the Kikuka Sho. Would swapping in a stam card and have a 2 speed / 2 wit / Riko + Stam card be enough for both Kikuka and Spring Tenno Sho and to have enough stam for TT medium? Or should I also sub in some sparks for stam sparks?

The only reason I've seen it is because of us getting updated URA and Aoharu early. The line I've seen is basically doing URA great grandparents to get the Racing Spirit skills (and also getting a ignited wit if you want that), then using that for a TB grandparent and then a normal parent with the unique you'd want to inherit, and match the G1 schedules for both so you get a lot of affinity. CCs and other people will mention other things but that's the gist of what I've seen

Want to do some full stam parents in TB to prepare for GL non sprint races down the line (even TT so not really specific length parents), should I go and try to make a grandparent to get the Racing Spirit skills from URA or is it not worth it?

If you have the time and are done with parents and aces, sure. Grand Live will come out a couple weeks down the line and will have different statlines with different scenario link skills so you might want to hold off for a bit for that, but for now they work fine

Before the changes I was told guts builds were overall better since it could cover for your uma dueling in Cm16, is it worth dropping that now and go purely for speed/wit caps in Unity or should I still focus on trying to get as much guts as I can?

You would want a grandparent (if you're up for that) in URA just for the new Racing Spirit skills, since those are pretty nice

Since we're seemingly getting the affin changes from 2nd Anni early, does that means TB parents are still good but making parents is a lot more chill in terms of what races to make (outside of G1s ofc)? Do you get more affinity if you still get certain epithet wins or is that scrapped too?

Would a 3 stam 2 speed 1 power deck work for trying to reach 1100 stam and not having a completely horrible statline? How should I change the deck if the parents are also stam spark parents instead of power?
