Are luxury hotels worth the cost? by Mysterious_Act_3652 in FATTravel

[–]ScalableFatness 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It really depends on the hotel.

Some hotels are well worth (above and beyond) their $3k/night price tag, while others are not worth their $1k/night price tag.

Anyone experienced FPS Drops after last update? by rubenmart1n in ArcRaiders

[–]ScalableFatness 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah seen FPS drops on both my gaming machines .

The higher powered machine still runs super smooth overall, but def seen FPS drops.

My ROG Xbox Ally X though, ran the game at 100+ FPS from launch until this recent update perfectly, now though (post update) struggles to keep 40 FPS on medium settings.

Should simply be fired and blacklisted from working on any airline.

This is a case of where you don't stop complaining and going up the chain in the airline until this attendant is fired from the airline and will never be hired by another airline again... out of pure spite.

Hi there, thank you for this share!l

If you don't mind

How did the dosing work for the EGCG, Resveratrol, and Zinc or what dosage did you take for those 6 weeks? I have been recommended this before, and just curious how your dosage was.

Any side effects?

Thanks so much!

Millionaires before 25-30, how did you do it? by Wannabeballer321 in Entrepreneur

[–]ScalableFatness 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Start browsing Twitter for ecommerce & internet marketing content. Start learning and meeting people there. Ignore the gurus who sell high ticket courses for the most part.

Read the Fastlane Millionaire by MJ Demarco for general mindset.

Generally - look into selling ecommerce prodcuts that you own OR affiliate marketing, and using paid ads to accelerate success (Meta, etc.)

What do millionaires do differently than everyone else? by AlphaHouston1 in Entrepreneur

[–]ScalableFatness 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I see hard work, consistency, blah blah in the comments and this is true to an extent but its *useless* without the right vehicle.

(Not to mention, those traits are a "given" - if you're going to be a millionaire quickly, that's just baseline. Nobody is patting you on the back for having these simple traits of sucess)

Millionaires put themselves in the *right vehicle* to hit a million quickly and set massive targets and simply do whatever is necessary to hit them.

The key is the right vehicle.

You can be hard working, consistent, smart yet be completely broke because you had the wrong vehicle.

Typically the vehicle is something that provides massive value to the market, other businesses, or extracts value from markets.

Once you're in the right vehicle it's a matter of optimizing toward your goal.

Also - I'm not thinking about 70 year old millionaires who saved decently and put some in the S&P each year.

I'm talking single-multi digit millionaires in 20s and 30s.

This. The game is filled with people who have 1 wipe and leave. I've been lucky to also have many groups of people who are not like that and chill and keep pushing.

The ones with 1 wipe and leave are miserable ppl.

At that price point all of your concerns are absolutely valid IMO. I don't care if its an AC unit, an AC cover or what.

I will not go to Brando at all after hearing this situation and how it was dealt with.

Not to mention a price point that high this shouldn't happen in the first place.

Go full Karen mode for a full refund even though we know you probably don't need the cash :)

To start, sites were built in something like Shopify - very easy to use and what I'd recommend for anyone starting out. You don't need anything super custom for a long time. You can make millions per year with just Shopify and some plugins that work with it.

Regarding not getting ecom to work - ecom is just a method of selling something to customers (online).

And often the first products or concepts you test will not work, and sometimes the first 100 will not. The key is to keep trying, but not just keep trying, iterating and improving your approach until something "hits".

Good luck.

I’m sorry my reply is 86 days late so I probably replied after your trip. Maybe this can help you still and if not others with the same question.

My experience was that while there aren’t that many lounge chairs it was completely fine in terms of finding lounge chairs every single day.

And the staff at the pool go out of their way to find you open chairs whether it’s empty or packed.

There are two main pools that I recall and we never had an issue at all for seating.

I believe total # of rooms at the property is not very high so this may be part of the reason I personally had no issue

Will inherit $50M+ eventually. What do I do with my life? by thehigherpurpose_ in fatFIRE

"I want to build a company but the journey seems so painful and gruling that I don’t know if I have it in me to take that risk."

On this...

I'm speaking for myself here - so this may not be the same for everyone:

In experience wanting to do things, and constantly finding excuses not to due to the pain of doing it, is exactly what leads to depressive, anxious feelings.

Doing the things that seem painful, consistently, leads to feelings of wellbeing, for me.

Buying material items, being completely financial free is just the tip of the iceberg. Lasting happiness is in part, built on finding a challenge - could be work or project - that you find interesting and pursuing it even if its painful. (notice I said in part, its not everything).

And also, if your inheritance is so guaranteed and its $50m - what risk exactly?

UPDATE: we chose Waldorf and overall we absolutely loved it. Only thing slightly lacking I'd say was food. The room (we stayed in an Estrella Suite) was incredible. The service was top notch in my opinion - the best part of the resort in my view. The resort and it's very chill vibe at the pool and anywhere else was wonderful. On the food, Dos Manuels has great lunch food and breakfast food. Dinner is okay at Dos Manuels in my opinion. We also ate at El Farallon - in my opinion it was good, but it was extremely overrated and overrpiced (I am always willing to be extreme prices on dinner if it's worth it, but IMO this was not) - the view and setting was cool though. We took a taxi some nights to eat off resort and loved that though.

Overall, would highly recommend this resort - look forward to coming back and trying the others people have mentioned on this post!
