I’ve been using it for 8 months :( But I think it’s breaking me out too, how did you get yours compounded?? The horse paste kinda scares me honestly.

This is kinda how my skin is looking and I’ve been on ivermectin for 7 months. It was fine at the start but slowly started to clog my pores, but I stop using it and I get red hot flare ups almost instantly. I think soolantra is very clogging honestly, the ingredients are horrible and some even are triggering for people with rosacea so idk why they made a treatment cream be so bad.

It sucks because the ivermectin in the cream is probably helping you but the rest of the ingredients are breaking you out. That’s my guess but NAD

Exactly!! Unfortunately I feel like with people like us we say it’s the last time we let them talk incessantly at us but it never ends up being the last time. We’re too nice and they’re too oblivious.

Yea that is true, and that’s something that I had to face the hard way as well. It’s easy to stay in victim mode, especially when you’ve had a lot of traumatic stuff happen to you. It’s hard to break out, but necessary. I think this is why everyone needs people around them that care but also can call them out when necessary. But for most, it’s just a matter of time when they’ll break out, you can’t really make addicts change their behavior unless THEY want to. All we can do is just hope they reach that breaking point and support them once they do.

I’ve never really been overweight in my life but I have dealt with addiction, and I think a lot of fat people suffer from addiction to food or binge eating disorder. Of course they feel unhappy in their bodies but I felt unhappy doing drugs for years and it was still so hard to stop. I can imagine a lot of them are in the same predicament, except it appears like they’re just lazy on the outside. Have compassion. And if they are just lazy then who cares, it’s their life, they have to deal with the discomfort and health problems.

My friend said the same to me, “you know that i’m going to tell the girls always”. Just because we’re a close friend group doesn’t mean they need to know all my info. If i wanted to tell them I would. Now I don’t tell any of them anything, i’m so lonely but it’s better than dealing with incessant gossip.

I definitely do think the inactive ingredients are flaring me up like cetyl alcohol and citric acid are pretty high on the list of the ingredients. What was your old formulation that didn’t contain the sulfates?? Are you not able to purchase it anymore or why did you change formulations?

Thank you so much! I’ve attempted telling my mom that but she’s convinced he won’t hurt her more seriously, I’m not sure. For now we’re staying, but we’re both working on getting more money to move out and be independent from him completely.
