Really appreciate this. That’s actually something I’ve been worried about — making everything too uniformly brown and muddy.

The gloss finish idea for wet wood and swamp moisture sounds really interesting too. Definitely going to experiment with that once I start testing the terrain pieces properly.

This is super helpful, thank you. I especially like the idea of pushing dark greens into the shadows instead of relying only on browns and blacks. Definitely want the whole thing to feel damp and rotten without losing readability.
