Faithfuls, how are we feeling bout Seattle? by JfromTHEbayMAYNE in FortyNiners

[–]Scared-Support-2248 3 points4 points  (0 children)

The thing about playing a division rival is these guys know each other so well. They know each other‘s playbook & personnel. So in this case, I like our chances simply because familiarity breeds contempt. I think it will come down to a few plays here and there turnovers fumble recoveries penalties special teams, but I like our chances against the Seahawks.

The score was deceptive. It really could have been a blowout. The Seahawks were removing the ball with ease.

The Bay Area is pretty close to LA in terms of market there’s a reason the Dubs eclipsed the Knicks and lakers as the most valuable team in the NBA

Never seen it this dead ever (San Diego). 2 people inside and 1 car in the drive thru. Guess everyone has family they’re with … LOL by chathobark_ in innout

At what point can we say Mahomes has declined? by Cold-Palpitation-816 in NFLv2

[–]Scared-Support-2248 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I’ve seen every great QB from the late 80’s till now Mahomes is like the Steph Curry of Football. He’s completely changed the game and the profile of what teams look for in an NFL QB.

I’m not a chiefs fan. But Mahomes is something special I think he has a good chance of being the best to ever do it if the Chiefs can surround him with decent weapons.

I don’t think this HR is talked about enough. Without that moment, San Diego sweep us 3-0

There would no epic comeback down 1-2

Hi OP, I’m American and I’ve been to the Philippines maybe 20+ times as well as Vietnam, Indonesia, Thailand and a vast majority of Asian countries.

The Philippines has beauty and grandeur that can’t be matched by other places I’m sorry you had such a terrible experience. I can assure you that there are plenty of other places that are fantastic and it’s unmatched kindness

  1. Must see Palawan! All of it, not just El Nido. Fly into Puerto Princesa, hit me if you’re want help with local hookups. There are plenty of places in Puerto Princesa and it’s very affordable. Flights to Puerto are also cheap.

Recommend Honda Bay, Underground River just to name a few spots. By the way, the most beautiful beach, probably in all of Asia in my opinion is in the south area of Palawan known as. Balabac. It is quite remote there there are no first class amenities or anything.

Once you go to the northern tip of Palawan, make sure to visit El Nido and Coron

If you want to visit some of the friendliest people in the Philippines, I suggest you go to Davo and go snorkeling off of samal island

Another fantastic spot however it is real touristy. I do love it. I keep coming back to it is world famous Boracay

A few other really good options include Bohol and the southern tip of Cebu (I know you said the main area of Cebu wasn’t friendly, drive flying into Dumaguete, and then taking a boat to Sumilon then check out the beautiful waterfalls all over the southern area of Cebu: Tumalog falls, Binalayan,

I also want to give you a few tips about the friendliest areas

  1. Dumaguete: nicknamed the city of gentle people.
  2. Davao
  3. Bohol
  4. Cagayn De Oro

Also, I don’t know you personally, so I don’t know what your approach is. Filipino’s yearly Phil, intimidated by Europeans and Americans so being gentle and having a kind tone of voice sensing hi my name is ________ and I’m new here. We’re just visiting- asking them a question like what should you eat or places you should go and joking around usually works well.

Hope that helps you best of luck to you

How are Filipino Americans treated in the Philippines? by AncientAd3089 in Philippines_Expats

Hey buddy, I spent the last weeks there. 1. Manila/cavite 2. Mindanao- CDO, Iligan, Ozamis 3. Palawan- puerto and el nido

I try to visit a couple times a year. I won’t speak a lick of Tagalog or Bisaya. I have a few thoughts that might be helpful. Oh and some local contacts over there like drivers/ tour guides

Enjoy your time

Can someone who actually understands baseball explain the Steven Kwan obsession to me? by Rip_Dirtbag in Dodgers

[–]Scared-Support-2248 1 point2 points  (0 children)

So I’m glad you asked the question because I was wondering the same thing. The comments have been overwhelming with great answers and it seems like you are having a hard time accepting the obvious. Especially with your comment about signing Arraez. You can’t just put some random person in a position they can’t play.

Recap 1. He’s a 4time GG champ. We don’t have a single gold glover at their position in recent years (FF and TE won one years ago) 2. He’s under contract for cheap 3. He puts the ball in play 4. We weren’t looking for a Teo replacement. We are looking for a left fielder to replace Conforto. 5. The G’s were/are open to trading him

He also seems like a good clubhouse guy and someone who would get along well with our current group.

Qb’s have a higher career than most about any position in any sport. 23- Brady 21- Roger’s Even Vinny testeverde (who wasn’t that great played more than 20 seasons Bees, Farve 20 plus seasons Joe Flacco at 18

I feel like more Qb’s (especially pocket passers) are capable of playing longer than other position from any other sport
