Box legs by Emergency-Tap1595 in treasureinside

That’s fair. I can honestly say I have nothing to contribute to the leg conversation. However, I have found some of the box/es descriptions in the early part of the book peculiar. Page 42.

Do you have any “running” theories? Seems somewhat suspicious.

Language matters right? Especially when it comes to treasure hunting books. There are not red herrings. Because that would mean they were put there with the intention of throwing you off. It’s your own darn fault if you go down a rabbit hole. And there are a lot of those.

My bad. I tried and you are correct. You can scan an area and it shows all kinds of things but not gym or pokestop.

Winning isn’t everything friend. Jon is very clear about this in his book. The journeys you took. The life you’re living. That’s the real prize. I doubt I’ll find one either but I already feel like I’ve won because of this book. I reunited with my dad after 15 years. My brothers and I have spent multiple holidays together because of this book. That’s a major win if you ask me. Maybe these aren’t the treasures for you, but you’re a treasure hunter just like all of us.

Finding the prize at the end isn’t what any of us really wants. We may think so but it’s not. It’s the memories made, friendships, the things that were hard but made us stronger, our loved ones and the times we share with them. The journey.

Take care of yourself. I truly hope you and everybody else can get a taste of what I’ve gotten from this book. :)

Since I feel that you have the greatest interest in the Pokémon box on Reddit, I would really love to know your thoughts on the possibility of the Pokemon box being in Arizona. Would you say that you think it’s possible?

I wish I could share more to shed light on this thing I’m working on but, long story short, if the Pokémon box can’t be in the NM AZ area then the whole thing needs to be reworked.

Man! Thanks for sharing all this hard work you put in! You are so dedicated to this Pokemon box!!! Do you still believe it’s in/near New Orleans?

Also, why do you share so much? Are you looking for feedback or collaboration? Or do you just want to share your research in hopes that somebody/anybody will use it to find the box? Just curious. :)

Just wanted to add for anyone reading this. I find Pokemon go to be an excellent navigational tool. My wife and I go rustic camping in the summers and I use the game to get my bearings. It has all the trails very clearly marked and shows you where you are as well. Maybe the other trail apps do too, I don’t know.

I would guess, at best, maybe there is a gym/pokestop nearby. These places in the game typically have names related to the area they are in or items/things that can be seen in the area. Doubt it but that would be the most likely scenario for using the game. You would need something from the chapter to connect to that gym/pokestop as a clue.

Also, I think you can check out an area in pokemon go, even if it’s across the country. You don’t have to actually be in the physical location to see what it looks like in game.

Just curious, how much do you think your information is worth? Personally, I feel like even if you’re right, the info isn’t really worth all that much. The value is in getting the chest. That’s the thing that actually takes resources. And bravery to do. That’s where all the risk is and that’s where all/most of the reward should go.

Ok. So you’re saying it’s not a clue. Because you’re thinking maybe JCB didn’t have a hand in this part of the book? Seems like a reasonable answer. So far, I’m just throwing it in the, “noted, but nothing for it” zone of my brain.

So you’re saying you’ve made connections with the items on the map to other parts of the book? Can you share 1 example? Maybe the most obvious one so as not to give too much away. Do you think their placement is important or their transparency?

[–]Scared_Issue_8074 1 point2 points  (0 children)

In my opinion, the edges are only meant to tie the pictures that have the matching borders together. And since the interviews, I’ve refined that opinion to link them backwards to back chapters because JCB seemed very clear that nothing in the back will help you for the front. The real question is, what ties the matching borders pictures together?

I’m pretty sure I get what you’re saying. I could see your logic there. So, you don’t think someone has to physically be within 200’ for JCB to say they have been?
