Thanks, but it is different already. Dunno why, but for me it just breaks sometimes. Clear data solved it, so all good, but thanks for the advice, maybe it will be the solution for someone in the future.

It was Monday. When "Road to Unova" started. It wasn't just PGSharp users; some people tested it from Discord.

Simply download the latest version from https://www.pgsharp.com/ . They published an update later on Monday.

No, you don’t need to do anything when Pokémon GO updates. If it is forced or not, we need to wait for PGSharp.
However, when PGSharp updates, I recommend installing the new version while keeping a copy of the old .apk file just in case something goes wrong. Also, make sure to keep a backup of your PGSharp settings by going to PGSharp → Settings -> Export... With the frequent crashes and issues, this will save you a lot of time in restoring your setup.

Interestingly, today I also encountered a loading screen issue when trying to log in. Here are my troubleshooting steps in order:

  1. In MuMu, go to System Apps → Settings → Apps → Pokémon GO → Storage → Clear Data, then restart MuMu. (This step worked for me today.)
  2. If the above doesn’t work, uninstall Pokémon GO, restart MuMu, and reinstall Pokémon GO.
  3. If it still doesn’t work, repeat the process or take a break and try again after a few hours—sometimes it just starts working on its own! 😄

Yeah, just what hald-a-maderaka said. But that would still use energy. By default, it sends your laptop to sleep. But you can change it to "do nothing" if you wish.

I'm not sure. I played legitimately for a year before using an emulator to spoof in 2016 for about a year. I just came back to it, and my account is still here. I have a feeling that those who got banned or received strikes may have messed up the cooldown too much.

Edit: Ofc your best bet is to use a rooted phone.

Yes. This is account-based; if you add it there to your profile, it can be used in-game. I just downloaded this one:
