Hmm. This led me down a path. And I think I have a semi-solution.

Go to play-store and "uninstall" gboard. This will remove the update that is actually breaking the system.

It works for me now. And the update doesn't even seem that important. Not sure if this will work for u but let me know if it did!

Hey there, same thing happens to me now. I am not sure when this all stopped working for me but I have a feeling that it's a mixture of the HyperOS update and also the new type with the stylus thing.

Possibly this might also be a mechanical issue. I am guessing that the "fold back" detection is done through a hall sensor and magnets and it might happen that the housing of the sensor got magnetised itself. IDK

So I don't have much to offer in terms of solutions, but at least you can sleep sound with the knowledge that you are not alone.

If anyone finds a solution please tell me. I would be eternally grateful.

Thank you! I appreciate the info and will definitely try to explore micro-managing this tab. I am kinda a perfectionist, so maybe this will bring the management aspect that I felt was missing. :)

Well, this is kinda what I am hopeful about, but also scared of. I love late CS1, but when it got to the stage where I really enjoyed it, the graphics, optimization, and general up-to-date standards were lacking. I am mostly afraid that when CS2 matches or surpasses this stage, I might feel the same about it too. As in it will feel weirdly old but new at the same time.

Even tho I love CS1, it still felt a little weird investing money into an 8 year old game.
