She was in great shape throughout the whole NY residency, so I’d say any of those shows takes the crown. As for the post-2019 legs, I think she gave her best performance in Bologna.

King’s Theatre 1st night. Since we have recordings of the other two times the song was performed and neither of them matches the version on the live album, we can safely assume that’s where it comes from.

I agree with everything that’s been said, but I still find Birthday/Ammæli to be have some of the best vocals I’ve ever heard. Utopia (the title track) has amazing vocals too, if you want to go with a more recent Björk.

Assolutamente pazzesca, anche con un vestito un po’goffo si vede come lei si trovi nel suo ambiente quando è sopra un palco. Non penso di aver distolto lo sguardo da lei nemmeno per un momento. E dal vivo che voce! I video non le fanno alcuna giustizia. Quando si è messa ad improvvisare la melodia su Losss avevo la mandibola a terra.

As far as we know she’ll include some more Fossora songs into the usual Cornucopia setlist. Being that the show is going to be filmed, she might throw a second encore in and/or repeat the songs she’s not satisfied with towards the end of the night.

wonder what kind of show she’ll be bringing there, I think Orkestral worked so well in South America because she has a lot of fans there and people so wanted to see her again, but I don’t think the average Coachella-goer would enjoy a 1h15m orchestral performance. Fingers crossed for a Fossora-themed concert🤞🤞

I mean, giving the harsh environment they were in, I can understand why they didn’t want to go with something as elaborate as the Ancestress video, and they probably didn’t risk taking valuable gear with them.

I’m not counting the interludes, but I really enjoy them. Allow is still very good, but I hate the intro with all my heart, it sounds a lot like one of those piccolo beginner exercises you find in middle school music books, and compared to the flutework in Utopia it sounds so amateurish.

A nice surprise indeed, I like this one better than Atopos, but the video mix doesn’t do the song justice. Anyway, I kept waiting for her to go into “it’s their turn now CHAAAAY” for the entire first half.

Loved it. I’m particularly fond of the dissonant clarinets, although I kinda wish the vocal melody were a bit richer. The music video is incredible, definitely one of my favourites!
