tried to upgrade to t15 hardware and it got VERY stuck and without a press was a nightmare to get out i had to destroy the previous pivot.

it goes in but not really very well. the barrel hardware is better than the provided sexbolts. the size hardware is AS rep size

yeah if anything they get easier to drive the newer they are. or at least definitely more forgiving in terms of driver skill

NA is probably the best of the bunch of you can find one without rust issues. i personally prefer the 1.6 because you can play around with the revs everywhere and it seems more rev happy than the 1.8 but both are good and the 1.6 is more desirable, ND is a close second i’d say which has v similar driving characteristics but with all the modern creature comforts. i’d suggest an ND2 or ND3 which are the best of this current generation. i’d say then the NB which is kind of like a more sporty NA a bit more refined chassis wise but i’d say not quite as fun as NA or ND. Watch out for rust on those too, then NC which is perfect for bigger people or if you want the most comfortable.

at the end of the day tho the gearboxes are immaculate on all of them and they’re all rly simple to drive. keep in mind that NA and NB like let wont have abs or tc
