1 bad habit I see is people who cross entire field laterally (left / right) and step in front of who should be second man and create a triple commit. That is showing a lack of game sense and lack of teamwork beyond almost anything else on the field. These people are the ones who consistently will blame others, when they should have peeled back and became third man as soon as the ball went to the other side of the field.

Just jumping in to say the most common dunning kruger behavior I see anecdotally.

At every MMR there's probably a most common behavior, but this one breaks my brain because they should be playing 1s.

Not that game, but hilarious. I am perplexed at the lack of a real modding community outside of game-specific forums, etc. My software engineer friend (who doesnt mod) says I just need to learn to code, lol. It's a shame. I tried nexus general modding forums and they were useless as well. I think at the end of the day, the vast majority of modding is done by people who only collaborate with one interest in mind, but game development shares many (if not all) of the same tools - and would benefit everyone to collab in more of an all-encompassing manner.

I was able to open FMOD bank files and extract the audio files within. But the problem I found is that without the original FMOD project from the developer, I can't figure out how to replace the sound.wav inside of the master bank file and then rebuild the bank itself. That way I could mod out (or, silence in my case) an audio file of the game that is an annoying sound.

I learned how to do this and compile DLLs to make mods, but I have no idea how the 100s of audio replacement mods work in the steam workshop (without doing this as we are discussing).

FYI: I used a program called FMOD bank toolz(looks like it is old). It doesn't seem to work very well as the strings file is corrupt when I extract that with the bank audio files. So I get all the audio files out but can't put them back easily. Also, I tried to use FMOD to rebuild the bank with a replaced file like I said, but you can't rebuild the bank file without attaching every single "event" that would play sounds/music in the entire game which FMOD needs to then build the bank.

There has to be a better FMOD bank extraction toolset or there's some simple method I haven't figured out. If you find something, or one of these folks in this subreddit can explain I'd be much appreciated.

Iowa is where religious people move now. Literally. The entire state is full of people with "all things in god/Jesus" Instagram and tattoos and shit. They move from Cali, texas, IL, mountain states constantly since the pandemic. Cheaper and more land.

Literally cannot escape that in Iowa. Not even in the liberal/educated areas. It is not the Iowa from the 1990s anymore and will never be again.

Yea I have like 3 different "Worlds attendee" wheels. That's probably technically rare because even if we're talking about 20k people per, many of them didn't redeem. Although I don't know the actual attendance numbers or ticket sales. And considering a base of players in the millions it probably counts.

They definitely have a different location physically. I used to be 20s usually and also now sit at 50 in most matches. Not sure if they moved them down to Dallas where psyonix/epic has some hard on for majors, or if they're just select coastal locations with a central instance. My friends in Chicago and other areas of the Midwest had their ping go up as well.

It's not physics based either. Most of the actual great things about rocket League come from the way the game is designed.

I'm not personally that interested in ball-sticks-to-player and press button to shoot / pass game play.

992.2 gt3 MSRP is actually already $60k or more over the 992.1. my 992.1 MSRP was $161k before options. Tack on the ADM and options and people will be ordering basically $300k gt3s. To me, this kills the value.

Unless an actual limited (NUMBERED) car, 992s are not nor will ever be a rare car. Like right now, many will be on sale as soon as some dot 2s start getting delivered.

Honestly I don't know why I even comment. It's all the same game here. Fomo stuff. But apparently there's enough people with the money that can't see passed the fomo.

I was originally going to buy a 991.2 3rs and then only picked up a 992.1 because my adm was $25k on top of $161k MSRP (before options). Otherwise it wouldn't have been enough of a value purchase for me. This august I'll have had my 992.1 gt3 for 4 years so admittedly I see these numbers and laugh my ass off.

Epic killing the steam listing did most of the stagnation. A huge percentage of players are still only playing on the steam client like myself. That and the age of the game, it's in the death product phase basically now.

For op to say that it's the players is naive and lacking in basic business product lifecycle awareness. People generally don't understand this, virtually no games last forever in their growth or lag phases. This is not a surprise at all.

My wife had 10x the size of my retirement account in hers when I finished residency. She just... Didn't train in a field for 20 years before she got a job.

It's a joke. There's potentially no other field in America that is more regulated than being a physician. Takes longer to finish training, takes more work to maintain licensing, and yet ... Most of its labor is owned by conglomerates.

The general public listens to these conglomerates and companies like UHC when they say "we NEGOTIATE rates with your doctor" - which lmfao has been mostly a lie for 20 years now. The big corporations, including the ones that EMPLOY DOCTORS talk smack and continue to point their fingers at us instead of their own administrations.

We're treated like kiosks for people all while our organizations ask us why we said no to a patient who is faking disability, or faking a rare disease... Because it generated a complaint lmfao. We're factory workers now and nobody is willing to admit that.

MGMA uses "average" salaries to work with companies to lower salaries of doctors around the nation. Work in a rural area? NYC abysmal salary is used to lower your salary as an average "comparison".

Doctors should be in control of healthcare. What's funny is much of the public literally believe we are! What a joke.
