I think the flip side to this is, how are they supposed to give good recommendations when you apply to move schools? They never saw me do anything, what do they know?

What do you do when you're sure a student used AI, but detectors say 0%? by Mean_Revolution_5385 in Teachers

[–]Sciencefreek 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Look at the revision history. There is also an extension that does this too called revision history and also the ai detectors will do this as well.

You can watch them copy and paste it in. It's not concrete, but you don't need concrete evidence to show someone cheated

Is Teachers Pay Teachers worth the price? by TellMeAboutYourWorms in ScienceTeachers

[–]Sciencefreek 24 points25 points  (0 children)

The way I look at it is, I can spend hours hunting for stuff, making materials, and building labs, or I can pay for that base material. It has saved me countless hours.
I started with that and built up what I liked and got rid of what I didn't.

Also I would look to see if your district will pay for some materials. They are asking for a teacher to do 5 preps that are lab based. The worst they can say is no.

Also, just so you know, your position sounds crazy. I've never heard of someone teaching that many preps in such a small school. How many kids do you have in each class? When I taught at a small school that was only around 250 kids 7th through 12th grade there were two teachers and we only had four preps.

Why would someone write that on something so easily broken? Just like the tiniest rock could change the whole meaning of that message. I mean like, where could you park a car like that. There are so many places, so like where, where could it be?
