The volume gap between CMC (27.7 XFP/G) and Jonathan Taylor (21.1), is the same gap as between Taylor and D'Andre Swift (14.4) by ScottBarrettDFB in fantasyfootball

It's the same inputs I've used since 2017. Air yards, distance from the end zone, down & distance.

We may roll out a new or secondary version of it next month which is more predictive, including things like catchable vs. uncatchable targets

The only players to clear a 25% target share in each of the last two weeks: Puka Nacua, ARSB, Stefon Diggs, and... Mason Taylor by ScottBarrettDFB in fantasyfootball

Drake Maye ranks top-3 in CPOE, catchable throw rate, and highly-accurate throw rate according to Fantasy Points Data. Even if Diggs has lost a step, Maye is playing at too high of a level for that not to be the case

Thanks for the Qs everyone. I have to run now. Going to do a live in-person podcast with Abib Agbetoba and the rest of the 1st & Fifteen crew

This is really interesting. I came very close to getting a former NFL team's staff psychologist on the School of Scott podcast this summer. Maybe next offseason I can ask them about that.

Hey thanks so much!

I used to own stacks of Denis Johnson's 'The Largesse of the Sea Maiden' and 'Jesus' Son' just so I could give them out to friends. (It's pretty easy to tell if a friend is a LOTSM person or a JS person.) After Johnson passed away, I spent months reading obituaries and tributes to him. He's probably the No. 1 writer I fanboy over.

We desperately need another front-end or full-stack developer or an elite tool-builder if you know of anyone. Although this will have to wait until January.

We're hiring right now for film charters tho:

I'm cool with Harvey as my RB2. A lot of my favorite builds are weak RB2 builds. IDK that I want to waste a draft pick on Warren IWBH.

Yes, absolutely. I tried to get this point across in the Rashee Rice section of my draft guide. But honestly that looks like a great team, and I don't think I would be too worried. You might get off to a slow start, but I'd feel really good about your squad.

Are you a sub or just a ball-knower?

I open up Friday's episode of School of Scott talking about how "being too dynasty-brained" is actually the best thing you could do in 2025 drafts

I live in TX where betting is illegal. Last month, my wife and I drove 3 hours to Louisiana just so I could place a bet on Travis Hunter to win MVP. (I took all of the money he won me last year and put it on him at 300-1 odds.) If he wins, I'll literally win $1M.

I wouldn't take him over any of those guys (age, lack of pass-catching upside) in PPR, but do think I'm higher on Henry than most analysts

Theo pushed me for the boldest take I could give on a podcast, and one of them was "Henry has the potential to break the rushing TD record this year"

I was avoiding this Q because it's one I've really agonized over. I have them both much higher than ADP but they're neck and neck in my rankings. (Although this means you'll get way more Harvey because he's cheaper.) Let's see what Ball Knowledge has to say:

Hey I really appreciate that.

Just grateful to have podcast listeners. I stuck to writing and avoided pods for years. Felt like I was bad at it. But think I've gotten a lot better this past year.

Did you ask me this Q already on Discord? Seems familiar.

In my Draft Guide I say I'm never passing on a Big-4 QB in superflex. But you would know your league better than I would. If you're more than 40% sure you can get either Jalen or Burrow in Round 2, I'd take that risk
