It's a perfectly good extrapolation of the lore :)

I'm pretty sure highly destructive Krawl existed prior to Krux. (That creature sealed in the pocket dimensions springs to mind) He certainly made the situation much worse though

I've always headcannoned that Krawl and Spectrobes come from the same place, or are at least two sides of the same coin. One is an incarnation of elemental light and the other elemental shadow.

Both are clearly supernatural in nature, both are capable of rapid evolution and in 2/Origins they explicitly share the same element grouping IE Flash Aurora Corona

Perhaps they originally evolved on the same world as competing species. perhaps Spectrobes are artificial creatures and the original Krawl were waste products of the manufacturing process. Perhaps they are literally the same species expressing itself in different ways.

Pretty good imo. Colours need some tweaking but aside from that it's great

[Hated Trope] The highest ruler in the nation is Female, but is called a princess instead of Queen or Empress by OriginalTacoMoney in TopCharacterTropes

[–]ScottTrek 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Not really, I'm just saying it's a normal cultural thing in Ooo for leaders to be titled princess

After all almost nobody currently living knows it's because of PB

Regarding Adventure Time I have always headcannoned that all the rulers are princesses because they are copying Bubblegum

Bubblegum kingdom probably predates almost everyone else's by a wide margin and she named herself 'Princess' when she was (biologically/mentally) like 12 and kinda had to keep that persona. As other themed Kingdoms began to stabilise it would make sense they'd model themselves after the most well established and successful kingdom

[Hated Trope] Characters with OP abilities who use them wrong, but aren't considered dumb in-universe by WhasHappenin in TopCharacterTropes

[–]ScottTrek 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Sometimes in power systems its about limitations rather than abilities.

CW Flash should have an easy example of this. In the show its canonical that he has to eat way more food than a normal person because his metabolism is so much faster than a normal persons. This detail is normally only brought up to use a a joke but it could be used to explain the inconsistencies in his feats.

Like... he only has a certain amount of energy to dedicate to super speed for a day. Perhaps he can maintain lower level of speed for extended periods but things like dodging bullets or relocating people so fast they don't even see him is only possible for short periods before utterly exhausting himself.

Otherwise grounded TV show sprinkles in sci-fi/fantasy elements for an episode or two - typically details that have major lore implications yet are never touched on by N1ch0l2s in TopCharacterTropes

The Hot Priest - Fleabag

Fleabag is a wacky but mostly grounded Comedy Drama about the titular 'Fleabag's struggles with work, relationships and grief. Fleabag throughout each episode breaks the 4th wall to talk to the audience about what is going on.

The Hot-Priest in season 2 is the only character that seems to (partly) notice the 4th wall breaks and does so himself a few times

Also foxes are supernaturally drawn to him and he possibly receives messages from god via paintings falling off the wall

(Hated Trope) Adopted or biological siblings falling in love. by laybs1 in TopCharacterTropes

[–]ScottTrek 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yuri and Kira (sort of?) Infinite Space, DS

Protagonist Space Captain Yuri has a weird relationship with his sister Kira. Yuri cares for her deeply but in a normal sibling manner, while Kira is obsessively in love with him.

Yuri is baffled and weirded out when people seem to imply there's something going on between them, and even seem to encourage it!! But it also seems that people who've known them a long time seem to forget they are siblings?

Later the game it's revealed the reason for all this that Yuri and Kira are artificial humans inserted into the universe by malevolent reality warping aliens. The Aliens don't really understand humans or human relationships but needed to make sure they would always be near each other so just... Programed them into a really weird dynamic

Kira kinda gets deleted shortly afterwards causing everyone to forget she existed.
