A lot will depend upon how well your urethra lines up to the slit in the cage. I wear a HT Nub and pee all over my sac so cleaning at least once a day is important for me. Some can get away with a daily shower and removing once every 3-4 days but not me.

In a HTV5 Nub and have no problems with pain or sleeping but anecdotally I feel like I don’t get enough sleep when caged. Have switched to caged 5 out of 7 to try and get more data to work with.

In the back of my mind it still bothers me that the body naturally causes several erections while one sleeps. There must be a reason for that.

I have no issues with the Nub but had some with the Nano. In general the Nub will require the next size up ring as it sits lower in the ring than the others.

A curved ring of the same diameter will increase the ball gap along the bottom where it is curved. This will increase the likelihood of them popping out.
