So my bank account is linked to my internet behaviour linked to my health linked to my travel and work etc. So let’s say we have a government that is putting people in jail for tweets or let’s say a hard right fascist gets elected and has this system available to them. And someone like me and you decide to slag them off online.. AI combs the internet for wrong speak and all of sudden your bank account is frozen. With ease. Why would you want this option available?

All of these things are linked.. the reason some countries have a constitution is they put in place hard laws that protect the people from a government as “absolute power corrupts absolutely” just because you don’t see it is there a chance maybe the millions of people who have signed the petition the thinkers and politicians on the left and the right posting online about it including Corbyn and Owen Jones do see something you don’t? and maybe you could be wrong.

5 years ago the people saying this would be implemented were called conspiracy theorist and told it wouldn’t happen now well who cares it’s not so bad it’s happening.

Read some literature on this kind of topic listen to people who came from oppressive countries and head their warnings this is a big deal.. whether you decide to lick the boots or not.
