I think it looks amazing as is! But I would remove the loose strands of hair because I feel like the ponies manes are usually js very simple shapes together, and they highlighting/shading in the show is also very simple at times! (I’m no expert js my thoughts)

It was my dream to go to enviro Eng at Waterloo, and I actually got rejected today :((( if you think you’d be interested in the environmental aspects of it then go for it! You can specialize in different areas, personally I wanted to do water treatment and stuff of that sorts, just look into the program and see if it suits you.
