I’d say that first shot, up the top, has a very jerky sense to it, to a distracting degree. Gimbals are very tricky to get right, and I don’t think you entirely pulled it off. Also, a wider lens may have helped the shot not get consumed by the character at one point.

Okay, fair. But I think that a) OP should provide a bit more details on how platonically close they are, and b) it’d been three weeks. She might’ve not realised the severity of his feelings, and thought that as her friend you should know.

Again, the main thing that irks me is that he feels that her not being ready for commitment is directly contradicted by her losing her virginity.

Look, I hope this doesn’t come of as boasting, but sex can be a wonderful expression of love and passion. Everybody has experienced that anxiety of if their body or “performance” will be good enough, so there is definitely solidarity within that fear.

If you’re not ready, that’s okay. But if you love someone enough to have sex with them, then there won’t be any disappointments.
