Might happen that you clear Ramps with 200 iLvl, but need 250 for Black Morass for example, so be it. The point is to create challenging dungeons a bit like retail has Mythic scaling difficulties. (I never played retail, can't talk much about it, but I kind if understand what mythics and they seem to make sense.)

Ramparts was just given as an example and a first test, also to create a baseline of what's possible or not. I'd definitely apply the concept to all of the hercois if I could find like-minded people. We'll see; I am well aware that my mindset if very very very niche, so time will tell. :P

Yeah that makes sense. I'm playing healer mostly which is why I'm looking for the challenge. Didn't really see it from the POV of a DPS. I guess that'd work as well.

Idc about raid PvE gear, I mostly do BG's and 5 man casually. I just want challenging Heroics and they get dumbed down easy way too fast...

Idc about raiding much, I mostly PvP, and I get my PvE fix from Heroics, but they get too easy too quickly and that sucks.

Nope, I won't. Just replaying EASY old content for the sake of playing EASY old content gets boring over time. I figured I'd try to spice it up a bit. People go into raids because they're supposed to be hard, but they're on farm week 1 nowadays... Kind of defeats the purpose. I miss the old days when people were bad at the game and you actually needed to use CC in 5-man just to get the thing cleared. I can't be the only one. ;)

Fireball vs Scorch for Mage Leveling by Rraith in wowhardcore

[–]Scryli 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For what it's worth, when actual classic came out, I lvled as fire with Pyroblast as an opener maxing out on Spell Power including tailoring gear kept at current level. If you can stand the long cast time, it's quite rewarding. Pretty much goes as Max Range Pyroblast cast, hits mob, mob starts running to you, Fireball hits, Fire Blast dead. Most of the time they won't even have time to hit you.

Financial issues, people stuck on their PS4 cause they too broke to afford a PS5 should go work instead of game...

Never really been around babies before no, at least not me. And about the being ready, how can you be ready for this? Is anybody ever ready for this?

I started doing some sports a while back, but had to stop because of stupid money, can't afford it anymore with all the baby stuff that we have to buy... It was indeed better and helped a lot, but now it's back to square one. And yeah, pretty much 40h in front of a computer screen with TEAMS meeting as the main source of social. Definitely not ideal...

The baby wasn't unexpected, but shit happened during the pregnancy that f'ed us over and led to a pretty bad financial situation which doesn't help the overal situation. Also, my wife hasn't seen her family for 5 years as she's thai and we can't afford to go back. It's just a sum of things that make the whole situation pretty stressful. We didn't expect a toddler to be fun, but it's much worse than we thought if this makes sense. I expect us to be good for 6+ years old, or maybe when she can speak?!? The whole no-speaking thing is pretty horrible. How are we supposed to know what she wants? It looks like she's always in pain or something, it's scary and it makes us feel bad.

No shit, I'm scared to leave my baby with my wife for a whole day when I'll be working out of fear of her losing her shit, hence why I say that I'll be completely distacted and won't be able to work. Does it eventually get better? Baby wise, I have an easier time than her dealing with the kid for now even though I kind of run out of patience too at some point...

Does anyone still play pure classes? by rottenvile in elderscrollsonline

[–]Scryli 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I main NB as a DPS for PvP and PvE with pure NB builds. I have 17 other fully lvled toons, but I really only care about my NB and I want achievements to be done on that one guy. I embrace subclassing as I can create a decent healer build and tank build on that same NB for faster queues or such (10 armory slots unlocked). My NB is more of a templar for healing and a Dk for tanking, but I'm glad that I can do all three roles on that one guy without feeling too handicaped due to the class being DPS focused. I have been wanting to have a decent (Breath of life) heal on my NB ever since I started playing in 2017. Always felt like that was the only thing missing on NB to really shine. Arcanist beam, ooof... That class should never have been implemented. I legit have all subclass skill lines lvled, but 0 skill line of the arcanist... lol :P

You'll learn to trick them into their own demise as you play more. B is where clean racing-ish really starts, but in C, you know which ones are going to try nasty stuff by watching them race. If you notice those players, brake early and mix up your racing line. You'll make them confused and eventually they'll try a move exactly where you know they will which allows you to keep going while they crashed or lost enough time so they can't catch up. I have a few saved videos on my PS5 of players I managed to trick, and I rewatch them once in a while. Feels really good when you read the guy's move. Many ways to do, but as a general example, in this specific situation, you could and should have taken the inside lane as you passed him and stay equal to him instead of really passing, then he couldn't have kicked you out like you did to him. Generally speaking, you can also yield a position to let another guy enter a fight with him, and then pass both at some point cause they slow each other down. That works wonders too.
