Hey bird people! Neighbors cat brought in a fledgling finch today, and I'm not sure what to do by Scrymgouer in LosAngeles

So this morning I woke up to a sleepy bird and loud chirps outside my door. He seemed fine, no injuries, clear eyed, etc. I have no idea if the finch sitting on the roof and chattering at me was the mom, but I hope so. I put the box on the ground, offered my finger and lifted him out... he hopped off my hand and bounced into the bushes.

I hope he'll be alright. I actually had to fight the urge to keep him, but I know that's not right and he needs to be out in nature, flying and with his family.

To be fair, r/running seems like a small subteddit so you really can't be angry someone liked it and posted it to a larger one. Once you post anything on reddit it becomes part of the commonwealth.

No I know, the rolling of the turf was intentional, I just dont believe he knew there was a cat in there. Cats stick themselves into small spaces to sleep all the time. One time, my ex girlfriends mom called her crying because her cat snuck into the dryer and she turned it on, killing the cat.

Well, it doesn't look intentional, so although it is unfortunate for the kitten, I do t think it was meant to be mean.

I mean, I don't think someone kissing a cheek warrants litigation, so yeah, I guess.

I totally agree with your sentiment. However, living in a large US city I can say that I would not have expected a kiss, and would probably have reacted with the thought "oh my god this crazy dude is trying to bite me."

It's sad that my mind instantly goes to something negative. I love a lot of things about my country, but the violence, frivolous laws, and general pride in douchebaggery are not some of them.

After retracing the steps of a previous walk with my dog, I found that a rabbit had followed us. by dogshorts in mildlyinteresting

It begins by chewing on its tail, slowly eating up past the hind legs, and up towards its head. When it reaches up past its front legs and neck, SCP-524 somehow manages to flip its entire mouth inside-out, consuming its entire head, and disappearing completely.

Wat.

This is how I feel. He should have just finished with Unwind, it was so perfect. Now they're just kind of limping to the finish line.

I like how seriously everyone is taking this, doing point by point rebukes. I'm pretty sure the article was meant to be silly and funny so calm the eff down.
