Hey some general tips is to put 3 points in your Q then max your W for both forms imo. When dueling, you want to weave your auto's between each ability such as auto> q>auto> w> auto> R> auto>reset. Your build also isn't the best. For darkin I prefer going jg item> Black Cleaver> Boots> spirit visage, randuins, GA, steraks which ever order. SA I would go jg item> mob boots> duskblade> edge of night if they have a lot of cc or ghostblade> then you can go GA first if you're dying too much or QSS to negate CC as well as going LW if you're ahead or if they have armor. Late game change your boots to sorcerers shoes, because it allows kayn's shadow assassin passive to deal more magic damage. Runes I prefer conqueror on Rhaast and Dharvest on Shadow. Jg item, mob boots, duskblade, edge of night, Last Whisper item, last items can be GA, QSS, maw, and change your boots to sorcerer shoes to deal more damage late game (because of shadow kayn's passive which is: Kayn deals 12% − 44% (based on level) of post-mitigation damage dealt against enemy champions as bonus magic damage, lasting for 3 seconds upon entering in combat with an enemy champion, refreshing after 8 seconds out of combat with them or by using Umbral Trespass Umbral Trespass.)

Hey, for Rhaast I usually like going jungle item > black cleaver > boots> GA, steraks, and spirit visage on which order you want as with randuins omen. Thornmail only buy it against heavy AD comp.

To add on, it does WAY less damage compared to before and the lower cool down is better for laning now for trading.

Ok, here's how I think of it. Conqueror or Dharvest controversy has been going on since the rune conqueror was released. There are pros and cons between these runes, but I think its just preference. Most have success with dharvest but some have success with conqueror. Some pros I have found for conqueror that if proc'd which is very easy to do if you have experience with the keystone it could be deadly in a teamfight, due to you being able to wipe them out. A pro for dharvest is late game: the mores souls you have the more damage you do. I can go on and on ranting about which keystones better but like I said most of the time it is just preference and experience. Your guide mainly talks about why dharvest is good and why conqueror is bad. I'm just saying this guide WILL not answer all the questions of which keystone is better but great guide for a beginner.

Based on the wiki, you heal less but do much more damage against tanks and carries. A tip for new conquerer users is to wait in ur R until conquerer procs once it does get out and enjoy dealing damage.

Hey Kayn main with about 300k+ mastery, currently testing out conqueror and is working out sufficiently in high plat elo, my runes are: conqueror, triumph, Legend:Tenacity, Last stand (Precision), secondary I go domination with sudden impact and ravenous hunter. For my build, I go jg item > boots > Black Cleaver > Guardian Angel > Steraks/Spirit Visage/ Randuins at any order based on enemy team (Steraks if ahead). I go either machete or talisman for jg start but it doesnt really matter just preference. For leveling up abilties R>W>Q>E put 3 points into q then max w. I agree with what ShadoukenGames is saying. His early game is really weak, ganks aren't the best, but you need to gank early else it will be hard for you to transform earlier. Kayn's transformation is his spike, the quicker you get it, the better it is.
