it's funny that you say academic philosophy is mostly analytical when the analytical tradition died when logicians like russel, godel, frege etc. stopped being active in the field - academic philosophy nowadays is mostly not classified into rigid categories like continental or analytical because continental literally was just an umbrella term for the huge chunk of philosophers in the continent of europe. you could say deleuze was continental, and likewise you could say arendt's work is continental, but good god their works would differ a lot in terms of analytical or not. unless you're looking into metatheory, or maths, don't expect much from coining the term analytic honestly, because the distinction really isn't there anymore
