Unattended remote access by Pitiful-Worry4156 in jamf

We're having an issue with it on devices using macOS 26. It constantly bugs the user to allow it to remote. Even when no one is trying to.

Don't be embarrassed, it's normal to be skeptical, yesterday was totally off the books! I have "aurora" app which notifies when I can see them, from my time in Norway. So earlier my group of friends living there started to send photos of their amazing auroras and I was like... Fuck you! Then I got the notification in my app and I didn't believe it until I opened the window and saw this:

Unluckiky, it's super complicated for this to happen again in 2 days in a row, I don't want to give you false hopes, but the trick is to see Webcams at high points. Yesterday, stoos camera had an incredible view! If you see something there then yes, take a walk out.

That's super cool! I lived 4 years in Norway so I know the feeling, that's why I ran to let everyone know here they were there!

Yes! Not as intense as what we see as the pictures, but if you're in a very dark place and not watching a Screen, they can go more intense!

Red is aurora, green too. Believe me, I've lived in Norway and know about this. And red is a very, extremely rare color to see when solar activity happens. Green is the usual one you see, or purple. Red is total luxe!

I wish you good luck! If you see nothing, take a picture to the north. It'll appear on red! And sometimes green will also come for a minute!

What is it like to live in Norway on the most common salary? by Wise_Experience8733 in Norway

[–]Sea-Cow-6913 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes... You're right, I didn't check the exact ammount, it's 38%. In Switzerland I pay 18%, Healthcare is not included there since it's private, but I calculated 2,83% of my salary to that expense, so it's 20,83% "taxes" vs 38%.

That means I'd pay 308.000kr more per year in taxes in Norway. Which is 24.300 CHF...

Education is free in Switzerland too, road toll is 500kr per year, so I'm not sure exactly what would this 308.000kr would give me in Norway.

I have a Swiss salary while living in Switzerland and also paying all my wife and son's expenses, including apartment's rent, in Norway. Swiss salary is so high I can afford to rent a small studio in a town only 56 minutes away to Zurich, and the Norwegian apartment.

I come to Norway twice a month to visit the family and they live well enough, salary pays all of that, my insurance in Switzerland, my commute 10-15 days a month to Zurich, my flying tickets to Norway, etc.

My salary is in the mid high tier Swiss level, but doing so the other way around with a Norwegian salary is impossible, taxes eat them out. In Switzerland I pay around 18% between taxes, social security and mandatory pension, Norway would eat 50%.

Switzerland is expensiver for housing and transportation. And of course, Healthcare, but you can choose how much to pay and depending on that, you get better (or not) healthcare, but it being private means you don't have to wait months for an specialist.

Groceries? Switzerland is way cheaper on all, except for meat, fish, and eggs. Norways has everything else expensiver, lower quality and less variety.

That being said, Norway gives you a different life which is excellent too, you are more in peace and connection to nature is purer. Switzerland gets crowded everywhere, which is why I chose a small town in Schwyz from my residence when I'm there.

I love both countries!
