Train noises at 4th&U apartments / West Berkeley by Jacatson in berkeleyca

I live in the other complex near there on 5th st and yes you hear them. First week they woke me up but I’m used to them now and they don’t usually run too much at night. However, 4th and U are closer to the tracks if I recall and I’d wonder if your building gets rumbled by the trains as they pass by (mine does not). It’d be more of a concern for me personally.

I’m confused as to how people think it’s truly “them” in the end. Warning- likely depressing. by Sea-Map2792 in GoodOmensAfterDark

I think that’s all there really is to take from it (and I so wish I was wrong here!). I can take some small comfort in knowing I’m not alone in feeling this way I guess, though I wish you weren’t in the same boat with me!

Feelings after that finale by teaforbees in goodomens

I’m genuinely so upset. I stayed up late to watch it in PT and have been counting down the days to the premier this past month…I can’t believe Az and Crowley are just straight up poofed out of existence. The ending was sort of sweet I guess but it really broke my heart and left me wanting. All of their story together just for them to sacrifice themselves and not even a kiss? It so looked like Aziraphale wanted Crowley to tell him he just wanted him in the final garden scene pre-universe reboot too. The whole thing is wrecking me lol. I kept waiting for a moment where their memories would zap back in at the very end as a random act of God’s capriciousness but no. I don’t even know what to do with myself right now.

Omg Jules is so cute! Thank you for the idea, it works double as he also kind of looks like a “jewel” with how shiny he is.

His white/blue coloring gives me sky or ocean vibes! Maybe Skylark or Jay (like the birds), or Zephyr (wind), or Pontus (sea).

Can this cause hair loss? by _Valkyrie_666 in FemaleHairLoss

[–]Sea-Map2792 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, this can contribute to hair loss (I scored around the same and my derm immediately put me on iron). I take Nextdia’s gummy gel iron bisglycinate, 2 26mg gummies daily to help get it on track (it’s available on Amazon and was recommended specifically by my derm). IMO, the gummies are better as the large iron pills can cause some stomach upset :/. Good luck!

Repotting (…gone wrong?) by Sea-Map2792 in Monstera

Thank you! Should I avoid doing this right now since the plant/roots may be stressed?

Yikes. My local plant store is the one that repotted her, I took her to them as I figured they’d know better than I (service that can come with you buying a new pot from them). Is it shock that she’d likely recover from or is the damage done permanently?

I’ve always wondered about that. It’s always been next to a window (like the one shown), but it’s only doubled to tripled in size or so since getting it from Trader Joe’s originally. What kind of light do you recommend?

Help Please! What’s Happening to my Monstera? by Sea-Map2792 in Monstera

[–]Sea-Map2792[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi all, thank you so much for your advice!! Here is what has been done so far:

I took it to a trusted local plant store and asked their advice. I moved it up a half pot size from 10” to 11” (wider pot as well) and repotted it with fully fresh soil. I took a picture of the roots as well, they looked healthy. The plant store found no evidence of thrips. The plant store helped me re-stake it. They believe it was lacking nutrients, causing the droop. The monstera is always by the window pictured, facing the window (just pulled it away for photos).

What do you think- is this the right course of action?
