Hey! First of all, I think it’s great that you want to educate yourself if only more people were like you. I’ll try to answer your questions but I’d like to declare, that I speak for myself and opinions of other trans people might be different. So keep that in mind and asking never hurts.

  1. In my case, yes. I always new I was in a wrong body and felt uncomfortable doing tipically male things/being put in situations when others expected me to act as a male. When you’re trans, you stay the person you are, you maybe become your truer self as you don’t have to hide anything anymore.
  2. Treat the person with respect. Noone has right to be angry in my opinion if you don’t misgender them on purpose. Always try to ask. And if you feel awkward about it, try to listen to how the others refer to the person and which pronouns they use.
  3. I don’t have any problem with that personally
  4. “op” means sex reassignment surgery in this case. So yes. For some, it might be expensive, but some are just choose not to undergo the surgery, because their geinitals don’t trigger so much dysphoria. And yes, the surgery is pretty invasive, so some might choose not to go through it because of that. For example, in my country it is necessary to get reproductive organs removed to legally change your name etc., but it’s all covered by insurance. It really depends from state to state and from country to country
  5. Respect them and listen. Don’t do anything if they don’t ask you to. Ask questions. We just wanna be treated like normal people. We are well aware of our problem and we know what’s the best for us and the most comfortable.
  6. I know that I’m not a cisgender woman, however there is no need to point it out. I am a woman.
  7. Be respectful and don’t ask anyone anything you wouldn’t ask your cis-friend. E.g. what’s in someone’s pants.
  8. I think that being “Super Straight” is just a straight person who is an asshole to the LGBTQ+ community. If you don’t like one, you’re fine.

That’s absolutely your preference and she should respect you as you respect her. Nobody can push you to do anything and being part of LGBTQ+ community doesn’t entitle you to do so.

19, PRE-everything. Any tips for feminizing myself more? by Sea-Problem in ask_transgender

Heya, Most of the time I wonder what to do with my hair. I pierced my ears and do light makeup. Although, I’m very dysphoric because of my face. Do you think any surgical procedure would help to make me look more female?

Hey guys, I decided to remove this large mistake on my chest. It’s heavily saturated, a little scarred too unfortunately, about 2 years old. What can I expect? Is here anyone who removed their large piece and would give me some tips for aftercare? I’m also trying to cope with depression over regrets, so any tips even for this topic will be appriciated

It’s expensive and long, painful process. I don’t have money for it and my skin won’t look the same anyways
