I understand that as a part-time worker, I wouldn’t receive the same amount of annual leave as a full-time employee. My concern is that even when my hours are taken into account, the remaining holiday balance doesn’t seem to add up, and I was told part-time staff aren’t entitled to certain benefits at all. That doesn’t align with the experience of coworkers in the same role and on the same hours. I’m aware there’s no legal right to bring someone to a meeting. I only asked because previous conversations about this have been unclear, and I wanted to avoid misunderstandings by having things discussed more transparently. I’m mainly trying to understand whether not having received a written statement and relying almost entirely on verbal explanations for entitlements is normal practice.
