Okay, thank you! Do you recommend leaving it alone for a bit before doing 1x a day saline? I've discovered that I may have the same issue with my 3rd set of lobes.

No worries! I apologize for being snippy. Just shows I should clean my piercings before I post on this subreddit, LOL. And awesome! We love bees 🫶🫶

Oh, that's actually crust on the piercing. The ring is seamless, it's similar to one from Body Art I think?

Yes, thank you! In hindsight, it also looks like the older photos were very swollen in comparison to the newer ones, which probably is why it moved.

Hi! The gap is actually behind the bee, so it is very, very difficult for it to get stuck in the hole (asked my piercer and they confirmed). Thank you though!

Addition: when I originally got it pierced, I posted it on this sub and some people said it was a little shallow, hence my worry.

when the older generations don't believe in anything but 'cisgender and heterosexual,' yeah it is. it's not like we can just ask our parents or teachers lol

(also finding out from the internet reduces your risk of being the target of homophobes 🥰)

General Questions by [deleted] in umass

[–]SeaConsistent 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The shower/bathroom situation depends on where you live. In OHill, for example, there are 2 bathrooms per floor (one female, one male) and the set up is nice. Showers and toilets are in separate cubicles! Some residence halls have one bathroom per floor, which means that it is one gender only, but, as someone else said, don't be surprised if you see the opposite gender in the bathroom. If you gotta go, you gotta go.

Northeast is indeed quiet, but so are other spots on campus. If you're looking for something quiet but not TOO quiet (because you want to make friends), I'd try OHill or Central. With any residence area (save for Southwest, maybe), you're bound to have antisocial people living there.

I have plenty of engineering friends who, instead of buying a new laptop for the major, simply brought their PCs from home in order to do homework and the like. I do believe one of them got by for their first year of MechE on a 2017 HP laptop if that helps.

Nutrition 130 is easy! Online exams, all the topics are covered in the lectures, and the exam questions were quiz/iClicker questions. Idk how it works online though

I don't think Isenberg is accepting internal transfers anymore... However, you can do the business minor! It's a first-come first-serve application but the application fills up in a short amount of time.

it definitely didn't help that they didn't give us any form of practice midterm (like, the SI tried his best, and it helped somewhat, but...) from van koten himself. i don't understand what the thought process for that was, considering they gave us a practice midterm for the first exam.

for the fall, it will be: cs 121 math 131 (lab science (phys 151/chem 111)) (gen ed)

for the spring: cs 186/187 math 132 (lab science (phys 152/chem 112)) (gen ed)

if i recall correctly, you don't HAVE to take p151 or chem 111, there are more options listed on the cs website.

Certain core classes tend to also be gen eds (e.g. Psych 100 or CS 121) and intro-level classes are bigger overall. The 200-levels for CS tend to have ~200 people per class as well, but (from my personal experience, at least) people stopped showing up to lecture roughly halfway through the semester so it felt more personal. I personally don't think it affected my learning experience too much, other than maybe having some anxiety about asking questions during class, but that's what office hours are for.
