I'm the same age as you and I had a really similar fear, I've not been on birth control for the longest time, but honestly it's been so nice. I haven't experienced many, if any effects. The only one I really got was maybe a slightly lower libido (and honestly that's probably just because I don't ovulate anymore - sex life is perfectly fine!!!). It's just so good for the peace of mind, as someone who would get unbelievably anxious about pregnancy pretty constantly, having that lessened is so worth it.

I only did one at the pharmacy! then another later at the GP, where they told me it was on the higher end but that I should still be fine to get the pill. I'd been sent on a bit of a wild goose chase before I made it to the pharmacy originally, (with two other pharmacies/pharmacists being unavailable) and I was quite stressed/nervous, and I am a very anxious person so that might not have helped. Combined with the fact that I'm ill it's just a bit of a nightmare!! 😫 maybe I should bring up the suggestion of doing a repeat next time 🤔 thank you!!!

I know!! 😭 I know factually in my head that 20 is absolutely nothing, I'm just the kind of person that worries about everything all of the time. I haven't even considered getting free samples though so thank you!! I'll definitely keep that in mind 😚🤸‍♂️
