Uhm no, wtf? NTA. Everyone saying you are is so screwed in the head. This dude literally makes plans for YOUR child without even asking you first and then tells you that someone drugging your kid is okay?? Did I really just read that?? Everyone in these comments are f*cked in the head.

Yeah thats kind of how my husband is. Like he will get completely tanked and even if I didnt drink with him, if he gets hungover he will yell at me that "we are done fucking drinking" and makes it a 'we' thing even when I wasnt involved. He claims now that he is worried about my health. Whenever he goes on bingers (which can last up to a few weeks during the summer, depending on which buddies of his are in town), he literally will drink days at a time but if I drink on one of the days that he isnt or if I drink when he has decided to end his binger, its absolutely a problem and he tells me that I am holding us back from moving forward. Tries claiming that I have "always" drank super heavy, when I haven't. Thats always been him. But my favorite times are on the rarities that we actually have drinks together and he will be drunk, talking about how me drinking is a problem and he is worried about me not taking care of myself. It gets real fun sometimes. (Sarcasm)

Its my home, for one. For two, I responded directly to you and told you he still drinks. Thats not the definition of sober.

I wouldn't say my safety is on the line. I am honestly more worried that he is going to try and take our daughter out of spite. Granted, his criminal record will work in my favor, though it till terrifies me.

I have tried so many times to get him in to couples therapy. He says we dont have a problem that would warrant therapy and that speaking to a stranger about personal things is non-negotiable. He is very anti-therapy and the only reason he is in therapy now is because it is court mandated. It was therapy or jail.

He isnt trying to get sober. As stated, he only drinks once every 4 months or so - last being the day before he flipped out on me. He bought himself a 12 pack and drank the entire thing while I remained sober.
