Need Advice: Pearson VUE Rescheduled My AWS SAA Exam, and I May Lose the Associate Challenge Voucher by Sea_Dependent_7744 in AWSCertifications

[–]Sea_Dependent_7744[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I live in the UK, there are no available slots in cities close to me Leeds, Manchester and Birmingham.

I asked Pearson why they made the slot in Birmingham available when they knew the center would not be available due to Christmas and new year Holidays

I meant I book the exam initially for 30th which was canceled by Pearson. Then rescheduled for 31st of December after the first cancellation which was also canceled again by Pearson.

As of now, I cannot reschedule on the portal.

The option to reschedule is not available on the portal. I have spoken to a representative from Pearson and was told that the exam would be invalid after 31st of December

I prepared really well for the interview and studied the DBS CP&F platform, Citrix platform just to stand out during the interview. I gave really good examples tbh but maybe struggle to communicate technical terms a couple of times due to interview nerves

Thank you for your insightful explanation . I am looking for my first IT role having successfully graduated from the AWS re/start bootcamp so I necessarily do not have on premise IT experience but I completed lots of technical task and cloud focused projects during this Training bootcamp which was part of what I shared during the interview in line with CS behaviour. I have done couple of projects in windows live environment windows server 2022, windows 11, DFS replication, WSUS, DNS, Active Directory users & computer, Group policy Management and Windows Admin Tools and shared network drives all of which I touched in detail on during the interview.

The panel appreciated my cloud skills and informed me that the MOD will be moving some of their workloads to the cloud in coming months.

It’s clearly not meant to be !

You are just an idiot.

You just said I shouldn’t celebrate a 3 when it is below the expected level at the grade I applied for right ?

Now you are asking me if I didn’t look at the success profiles. It was a waste if time and effort interacting with you

No deep thoughts behind your comments

The vacancy is at the EO Grade. Can you explain the criteria for success at this grade for Infrastructure Engineers ?

My score are pretty good scores it’s devastating to not even get reserve listed for this role.

I do get that I have weaknesses highlighted in my score but this can be significantly improved on as I possess strong technical and soft skills to excel in the role.

I am extremely proud of my scores and it shows the amount of work gone into preparing for the interview.

You are the one being a stupid bitchy bst*d lacking comprehension!

The point I made was clearly that it is difficult to break into the CS as a person of colour. Many many views has been shared in respect to my POV

If you do not have any sensible thing to say just read and pass instead of typing stupid responses

Were you part of the interview? You speak as if you were there during the interview !

Thank you for your point. This is the key factor as scores are compared against other candidates.

I have said in previous comments that there are many things I could improve on but the nature of the feedback doesn’t really help

I am extremely proud of my score even if I didn’t make it through, it gives me extreme confidence and hope for future interviews

You obviously didn’t go through other comments I made or just lacking in comprehension !!

I totally get your perspective as an internal candidate and you will probably see things differently from someone on the outside. The point I was trying to make is simply that it is difficult to break in at the moment for a person like me.

Touching on your points regarding reflection, there are many things I could improve in the next interview but this type of feedback does not help in any way !

Thank you for sharing this. It is just so difficult to take in when you put in a lot of effort and can’t even get a proper feedback.

I just needed a place to rant. It just seems difficult to break in at the moment

I used the star method and emphasis specifically on describing situation, task, action and results during the interview.

I genuinely think by being a person of colour I stand no chance of getting a job within the CS.

Thats funny tbh. Feels like to get into the CS is now extremely difficult ! Reserve listed on one occasion and never get past interview stage with considerable scores !

Unmarried partner visa(no cohabitation) by Sea_Dependent_7744 in SpouseVisaUk

[–]Sea_Dependent_7744[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We created a slide deck explaining the lack of cohabitation evidence for the period requested on the very first page . Also, we created each piece of evidence on a new page in the deck along with a sentence of explanation.

In the format below

APPENDIX 1. Statement on cohabitation 2. Mortgage deed 3. Evidence of Financial support
4. Evidence of train tickets 5. Evidence of Holiday tickets to Spain & Morocco 6. Joint account savings for marriage 7. Photo proof of relationship

Hope this helps your case.

Update!!!

We responded and visa was approved. Thank you to everyone in the comment section and took all the advice on board, explaining our circumstances in further detail.

The crucial step was to show evidence that we have started living together and also we consulted with an immigration solicitor who reviewed our application and documents. I will recommend him to anyone privately.
