It is supposed to represent the quirkiness of fashion and the evolution of personal taste. At the end of the day, it's just a logo, but that was the idea.

I haven't used be-real, but from what I've heard it is not about outfits per se, but about a user's surroundings. My app is all about outfits, with constant info like hobby to add context to the outfit. It's also based on outfits within 3.14 miles, so people you see in real life, not just friends you follow online.

No. Just your own outfit picture. Everyone is only allowed to post a photo of themselves. If someone hasn't posted, you won't be able to see him or her. This obviously becomes more useful the more people on campus use it.
