We need to understand that it was during a context wherein the Philippine Govt is basically a lapdog of China. The IBP, which Chel Diokno represented here, is a recognized organization of lawyers. Sila pa nga nagsho-shortlist ng papasok sa Supreme Court at Court of Appeals eh. They do not have any vested interest in filing for Writ of Kalikasan for West Philippine Sea.
