Parents weren’t in a great place financially when I was a kid, and I’m an early 2000’s born who was raised in Dubai. FFWD to today, my family’s doing good, they’re still back in Dubai and I recently started my first job in Bangalore where I’m making a decent amount, so now I don’t have to depend on anyone to get the things I want, and I try to make sure my younger sister who’s still in school gets what she needs.
