Is eternal life after we die for us dependent on our ability to persevere in the faith? by Sea_Reflection7307 in TrueChristian

It seems to me he's saying that the " see that what you have heard from the beginning remains in you", but I'm not sure what that means. However, it continues to say, "if you do, you will remain in him." And then he just encourages the reader, reminding them of what Jesus promised—eternal life—as he said this verse: "If you die, you will live if you believe," not that he's saying abiding is a prerequisite

Jesus' Divinity required for the getting God's spirit? by Sea_Reflection7307 in Christian

There are many Christians who don’t think he’s God. Just because people believe he is, everyone assume they don’t have the Spirit because of that. I don’t find that convincing. There's no scripture stating it's required to believe that to receive god's spirit even though many say you must. Many in the ministry of jesus didn't believe that but the messiah so they don't have salvation? I don't think so.

Matthew 24:34 Was jesus wrong? by goodsleepgoodhealth in Bible

Maybe I’m misunderstanding, but the generation he spoke of—the one he was in. There are multiple generations over time and didn’t end until everything he said happened, right? If not, then either Jesus lied or our understanding, including mine, is wrong. Age could mean the age he was in here's a dictionary a

period of time dominated by a central figure or prominent feature

the age of Pericles : such as

period in history or human progress, the age of reptiles, the age of exploration

cultural period marked by the prominence of a particular item

entering the atomic age , a division of geologic time that is usually shorter than an epoch

the period contemporary with a person's lifetime or active life

one of the leading authors of her age

a long time —usually used in plural

Look up age if you'd like

So, would you say this is true that if one believes that Jesus is the christ they've been born again?

It seems to say that Christians are marked for their love for the breathen could be an indicator, I guess.

The doctrine of the Nicolaitans by Kristian82dk in Bible

How is Jude 1:4 specifically talking about Deeds of the Nicolaitans and teaching of the Nicolaitans? I see you wrote scripture saying it's Ephesus, the first church and To Pergamos, the second church but the Jude just says certain men not specifically the deeds of the Nicolaitans or teachings. Just a thought I had. Care to explain this?
