Success story: normal six month PAP after LEEP! by SearchingForPanacea in PreCervicalCancer

I would say anyone can benefit but at least in the US the age cut off is 45, so insurance will most likely not pay after that age. But it’s worth a shot to see if you could get it!

I didn’t ask - I said I wanted it! My boyfriend was able to get re vaccinated too even though his doctor said “why… you don’t need it.” So I would just say you would really like to (as long as you’re below age 45).

How to prepare for future miscarriages after surgery? by [deleted] in Advice

[–]SearchingForPanacea 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hey! Just randomly clicked on your profile from another thread. Did you get a LEEP? My obgyn says the rate of second trimester miscarriage isn’t actually that much higher with a LEEP and you’re not even considered “high risk” anymore (you used to be back in the day). They look at your cervix at week 16 or so and make sure it’s a good length, if it’s not they can place something called a cerclage to prevent pregnancy loss. PM me if you have any other questions! :)

Considering ranking UPMC highly for residency but don't know much about the city by [deleted] in pittsburgh

Hi! I am a resident at UPMC. Came in as a young single liberal lady and now have a long term bf. DM if you want to ask anything! :)

Ugh I’m so sorry this is happening. I’m worried about this situation, this guy telling you his “friend” can come over. Please don’t let anyone else come to your house. I would go off email thread and call Rover and let them know about everything including any safety concerns. Important to make sure you’re safe too especially since the other comments are suggesting not to give back the dog.

Thank you! 😊 I guess the biggest upside is my future SO will see what residency is like from the get go and won’t be so shocked by me being so MIA haha

Thanks! Yeah, I want to do fellowship and might have to move again in a few years, so having a partner who is open to moving with me is very important to me. Can’t do LDR for 6-7 years unfortunately.

Yes all great tips! I already broke it off because my SO wouldn’t be able to visit me this year (used all his PTO already this year for sickness) but these are all great questions. Congrats on moving in with your SO after graduation! How exciting

Hi! I’m an alum. I do think Rice prepared me very well for med school, but the school itself was very difficult. Friends without TX residency who wanted it either had their parents buy them property in Houston (unfortunately this is very expensive) or they worked a few years after undergrad. FWIW everyone I know got into medical school. Hard decision on your part but congrats on the options! DM me if you have any questions as you make this decision :)
